وَّجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًاۚ ١١
- wajaʿalnā
- وَجَعَلْنَا
- And We made
- l-nahāra
- ٱلنَّهَارَ
- the day
- maʿāshan
- مَعَاشًا
- (for) livelihood
And made the day for livelihood. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 11)Tafsir
12
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًاۙ ١٢
- wabanaynā
- وَبَنَيْنَا
- And We constructed
- fawqakum
- فَوْقَكُمْ
- over you
- sabʿan
- سَبْعًا
- seven
- shidādan
- شِدَادًا
- strong
And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 12)Tafsir
13
وَّجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًاۖ ١٣
- wajaʿalnā
- وَجَعَلْنَا
- And We placed
- sirājan
- سِرَاجًا
- a lamp
- wahhājan
- وَهَّاجًا
- burning
And made [therein] a burning lamp (QS. [78] An-Naba: 13)Tafsir
14
وَّاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرٰتِ مَاۤءً ثَجَّاجًاۙ ١٤
- wa-anzalnā
- وَأَنزَلْنَا
- And We sent down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-muʿ'ṣirāti
- ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ
- the rain clouds
- māan
- مَآءً
- water
- thajjājan
- ثَجَّاجًا
- pouring abundantly
And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 14)Tafsir
15
لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهٖ حَبًّا وَّنَبَاتًاۙ ١٥
- linukh'rija
- لِّنُخْرِجَ
- That We may bring forth
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- thereby
- ḥabban
- حَبًّا
- grain
- wanabātan
- وَنَبَاتًا
- and vegetation
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 15)Tafsir
16
وَّجَنّٰتٍ اَلْفَافًاۗ ١٦
- wajannātin
- وَجَنَّٰتٍ
- And gardens
- alfāfan
- أَلْفَافًا
- (of) thick foliage
And gardens of entwined growth. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 16)Tafsir
17
اِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيْقَاتًاۙ ١٧
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (the) Day
- l-faṣli
- ٱلْفَصْلِ
- (of) the Judgment
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- mīqātan
- مِيقَٰتًا
- an appointed time
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time - (QS. [78] An-Naba: 17)Tafsir
18
يَّوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَتَأْتُوْنَ اَفْوَاجًاۙ ١٨
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- yunfakhu
- يُنفَخُ
- is blown
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ṣūri
- ٱلصُّورِ
- the trumpet
- fatatūna
- فَتَأْتُونَ
- and you will come forth
- afwājan
- أَفْوَاجًا
- (in) crowds
The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes (QS. [78] An-Naba: 18)Tafsir
19
وَّفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ اَبْوَابًاۙ ١٩
- wafutiḥati
- وَفُتِحَتِ
- And is opened
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the heaven
- fakānat
- فَكَانَتْ
- and becomes
- abwāban
- أَبْوَٰبًا
- gateways
And the heaven is opened and will become gateways. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 19)Tafsir
20
وَّسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًاۗ ٢٠
- wasuyyirati
- وَسُيِّرَتِ
- And are moved
- l-jibālu
- ٱلْجِبَالُ
- the mountains
- fakānat
- فَكَانَتْ
- and become
- sarāban
- سَرَابًا
- a mirage
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage. (QS. [78] An-Naba: 20)Tafsir
