Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mursalat Verse 47
Al-Mursalat [77]: 47 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ (المرسلات : ٧٧)

- Woe

- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- lil'mukadhibīna
- لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
- to the deniers
Transliteration:
Wailunny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen(QS. al-Mursalāt:47)
English / Sahih Translation:
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. (QS. Al-Mursalat, ayah 47)

This is similar to Allah's statement,
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلً ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَى عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
We let them enjoy for a little while, then in the end We shall oblige them to a great torment. (31;24)
Allah also says,
قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
مَتَـعٌ فِى الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ
Verily, those who invent a lie against Allah, will never be successful.
(A brief) enjoyment in this world! And then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve. (10;69,70)
Then Allah says,
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَاإ يَرْكَعُونَ
