1
وَالْمُرْسَلٰتِ عُرْفًاۙ ١
- wal-mur'salāti
- وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ
- By the ones sent forth
- ʿur'fan
- عُرْفًا
- one after another
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 1)Tafsir
2
فَالْعٰصِفٰتِ عَصْفًاۙ ٢
- fal-ʿāṣifāti
- فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ
- And the winds that blow
- ʿaṣfan
- عَصْفًا
- violently
And the winds that blow violently (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 2)Tafsir
3
وَّالنّٰشِرٰتِ نَشْرًاۙ ٣
- wal-nāshirāti
- وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ
- And the ones that scatter
- nashran
- نَشْرًا
- far and wide
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 3)Tafsir
4
فَالْفٰرِقٰتِ فَرْقًاۙ ٤
- fal-fāriqāti
- فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ
- And those who separate
- farqan
- فَرْقًا
- (by the) Criterion
And those [angels] who bring criterion (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 4)Tafsir
5
فَالْمُلْقِيٰتِ ذِكْرًاۙ ٥
- fal-mul'qiyāti
- فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ
- And those who bring down
- dhik'ran
- ذِكْرًا
- (the) Reminder
And those [angels] who deliver a message. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 5)Tafsir
6
عُذْرًا اَوْ نُذْرًاۙ ٦
- ʿudh'ran
- عُذْرًا
- (As) justification
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- nudh'ran
- نُذْرًا
- warning
As justification or warning, (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 6)Tafsir
7
اِنَّمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لَوَاقِعٌۗ ٧
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- Indeed what
- tūʿadūna
- تُوعَدُونَ
- you are promised
- lawāqiʿun
- لَوَٰقِعٌ
- will surely occur
Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 7)Tafsir
8
فَاِذَا النُّجُوْمُ طُمِسَتْۙ ٨
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- So when
- l-nujūmu
- ٱلنُّجُومُ
- the stars
- ṭumisat
- طُمِسَتْ
- are obliterated
So when the stars are obliterated (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 8)Tafsir
9
وَاِذَا السَّمَاۤءُ فُرِجَتْۙ ٩
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the heaven
- furijat
- فُرِجَتْ
- is cleft asunder
And when the heaven is opened (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 9)Tafsir
10
وَاِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْۙ ١٠
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- l-jibālu
- ٱلْجِبَالُ
- the mountains
- nusifat
- نُسِفَتْ
- are blown away
And when the mountains are blown away (QS. [77] Al-Mursalat: 10)Tafsir
