Al-Insan [76]: 31 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

يُّدْخِلُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ فِيْ رَحْمَتِهٖۗ وَالظّٰلِمِيْنَ اَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ࣖ (الانسان : ٧٦)

Transliteration:

Yudkhilu mai yashaaa'u fee rahmatih; wazzaalimeena a'adda lahum 'azaaban aleemaa (QS. al-ʾInsān:31)

English / Sahih Translation:

He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers – He has prepared for them a painful punishment. (QS. Al-Insan, ayah 31)

Tafsir jalalayn

He admits whomever He will into His mercy, His Paradise, namely, the believers; and as for the evildoers (al- zlimna is in the accusative because of an implied verb, that is to say, a`adda, `He has prepared', as explained by [what follows]), He has prepared for them a painful chastisement -- these are the disbelievers. Meccan, consisting of 50 verses.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

He will admit to His mercy whom He wills and as for the wrongdoers -- He has prepared a painful torment.

meaning, He guides whomever He wishes and He leads astray whomever He wishes.

Whoever He guides, there is no one who can lead him astray; and whoever He leads astray, there is no one who can guide him.

This is the end of the Tafsir of Surah Al-Dahr. And all praise and thanks are due to Allah
