وَتَذَرُوْنَ الْاٰخِرَةَۗ ٢١
- watadharūna
- وَتَذَرُونَ
- And leave
- l-ākhirata
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ
- the Hereafter
And leave [i.e., neglect] the Hereafter. (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 21)Tafsir
22
وُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌۙ ٢٢
- wujūhun
- وُجُوهٌ
- Faces
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- nāḍiratun
- نَّاضِرَةٌ
- (will be) radiant
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 22)Tafsir
23
اِلٰى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ ۚ ٢٣
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- Towards
- rabbihā
- رَبِّهَا
- their Lord
- nāẓiratun
- نَاظِرَةٌ
- looking
Looking at their Lord. (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 23)Tafsir
24
وَوُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍۢ بَاسِرَةٌۙ ٢٤
- wawujūhun
- وَوُجُوهٌ
- And faces
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍۭ
- that Day
- bāsiratun
- بَاسِرَةٌ
- (will be) distorted
And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 24)Tafsir
25
تَظُنُّ اَنْ يُّفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ ۗ ٢٥
- taẓunnu
- تَظُنُّ
- Thinking
- an
- أَن
- that
- yuf'ʿala
- يُفْعَلَ
- will be done
- bihā
- بِهَا
- to them
- fāqiratun
- فَاقِرَةٌ
- backbreaking
Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking. (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 25)Tafsir
26
كَلَّآ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَۙ ٢٦
- kallā
- كَلَّآ
- No!
- idhā
- إِذَا
- When
- balaghati
- بَلَغَتِ
- it reaches
- l-tarāqiya
- ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ
- the collar bones
No! When it [i.e., the soul] has reached the collar bones (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 26)Tafsir
27
وَقِيْلَ مَنْ ۜرَاقٍۙ ٢٧
- waqīla
- وَقِيلَ
- And it is said
- man
- مَنْۜ
- "Who
- rāqin
- رَاقٍ
- (will) cure?"
And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 27)Tafsir
28
وَّظَنَّ اَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُۙ ٢٨
- waẓanna
- وَظَنَّ
- And he is certain
- annahu
- أَنَّهُ
- that it
- l-firāqu
- ٱلْفِرَاقُ
- (is) the parting
And he [i.e., the dying one] is certain that it is the [time of] separation (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 28)Tafsir
29
وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِۙ ٢٩
- wal-tafati
- وَٱلْتَفَّتِ
- And is wound
- l-sāqu
- ٱلسَّاقُ
- the leg
- bil-sāqi
- بِٱلسَّاقِ
- about the leg
And the leg is wound about the leg, (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 29)Tafsir
30
اِلٰى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَىِٕذِ ِۨالْمَسَاقُ ۗ ࣖ ٣٠
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- To
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that Day
- l-masāqu
- ٱلْمَسَاقُ
- (will be) the driving
To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. (QS. [75] Al-Qiyamah: 30)Tafsir
