Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Jinn Verse 7
Al-Jinn [72]: 7 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَّاَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوْا كَمَا ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ لَّنْ يَّبْعَثَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدًاۖ (الجن : ٧٢)
- wa-annahum
- وَأَنَّهُمْ
- And that they

Transliteration:
Wa annahum zannoo kamaa zanantum al lany yab'asal laahu ahadaa(QS. al-Jinn:7)
English / Sahih Translation:
And they had thought, as you thought, that Allah would never send anyone [as a messenger]. (QS. Al-Jinn, ayah 7)

and that they (humans) thought as you (O Jinns) thought that Allah will never resurrect anyone,

And they thought as you thought that Allah will not send any Messenger.'
meaning, Allah would never send a Messenger after this long period of time.
