Al-Qur'an Surah Nuh Verse 10
Nuh [71]: 10 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّكُمْ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ غَفَّارًاۙ (نوح : ٧١)

- Oft-Forgiving
Transliteration:
Faqultus taghfiroo Rabakam innahoo kaana Ghaffaaraa(QS. Nūḥ:10)
English / Sahih Translation:
And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. (QS. Nuh, ayah 10)

saying, "Ask your Lord for forgiveness, from idolatry. Assuredly He is ever Forgiving.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
I said;Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft-Forgiving;
meaning, `return to Him and turn away from what you are involved in. Repent to Him soon, for verily, He is Most Accepting of the repentance of those who turn to Him in repentance. He will accept repentance no matter what the sin is, even if it is disbelief and polytheism.'
Thus, he said,
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاء عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا
