11
يُّرْسِلِ السَّمَاۤءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّدْرَارًاۙ ١١
- yur'sili
- يُرْسِلِ
- He will send down
- l-samāa
- ٱلسَّمَآءَ
- (rain from) the sky
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُم
- upon you
- mid'rāran
- مِّدْرَارًا
- (in) abundance
He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers (QS. [71] Nuh: 11)Tafsir
12
وَّيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِاَمْوَالٍ وَّبَنِيْنَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَّكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّيَجْعَلْ لَّكُمْ اَنْهٰرًاۗ ١٢
- wayum'did'kum
- وَيُمْدِدْكُم
- And provide you
- bi-amwālin
- بِأَمْوَٰلٍ
- with wealth
- wabanīna
- وَبَنِينَ
- and children
- wayajʿal
- وَيَجْعَل
- and make
- lakum
- لَّكُمْ
- for you
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- gardens
- wayajʿal
- وَيَجْعَل
- and make
- lakum
- لَّكُمْ
- for you
- anhāran
- أَنْهَٰرًا
- rivers
And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. (QS. [71] Nuh: 12)Tafsir
13
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ وَقَارًاۚ ١٣
- mā
- مَّا
- What
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- (is) for you
- lā
- لَا
- not
- tarjūna
- تَرْجُونَ
- you attribute
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- to Allah
- waqāran
- وَقَارًا
- grandeur?
What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur (QS. [71] Nuh: 13)Tafsir
14
وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ اَطْوَارًا ١٤
- waqad
- وَقَدْ
- And indeed
- khalaqakum
- خَلَقَكُمْ
- He created you
- aṭwāran
- أَطْوَارًا
- (in) stages
While He has created you in stages? (QS. [71] Nuh: 14)Tafsir
15
اَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِبَاقًاۙ ١٥
- alam
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- taraw
- تَرَوْا۟
- you see
- kayfa
- كَيْفَ
- how
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- did create
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- sabʿa
- سَبْعَ
- (the) seven
- samāwātin
- سَمَٰوَٰتٍ
- heavens
- ṭibāqan
- طِبَاقًا
- (in) layers
Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers (QS. [71] Nuh: 15)Tafsir
16
وَّجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيْهِنَّ نُوْرًا وَّجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا ١٦
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- And made
- l-qamara
- ٱلْقَمَرَ
- the moon
- fīhinna
- فِيهِنَّ
- therein
- nūran
- نُورًا
- a light
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- and made
- l-shamsa
- ٱلشَّمْسَ
- the sun
- sirājan
- سِرَاجًا
- a lamp?
And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? (QS. [71] Nuh: 16)Tafsir
17
وَاللّٰهُ اَنْۢبَتَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ نَبَاتًاۙ ١٧
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- anbatakum
- أَنۢبَتَكُم
- has caused you to grow
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- nabātan
- نَبَاتًا
- (as) a growth
And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. (QS. [71] Nuh: 17)Tafsir
18
ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُكُمْ فِيْهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ اِخْرَاجًا ١٨
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- yuʿīdukum
- يُعِيدُكُمْ
- He will return you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- into it
- wayukh'rijukum
- وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ
- and bring you forth
- ikh'rājan
- إِخْرَاجًا
- (a new) bringing forth
Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction. (QS. [71] Nuh: 18)Tafsir
19
وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ بِسَاطًاۙ ١٩
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- made
- lakumu
- لَكُمُ
- for you
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- the earth
- bisāṭan
- بِسَاطًا
- an expanse
And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse (QS. [71] Nuh: 19)Tafsir
20
لِّتَسْلُكُوْا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا ࣖ ٢٠
- litaslukū
- لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟
- That you may go along
- min'hā
- مِنْهَا
- therein
- subulan
- سُبُلًا
- (in) paths
- fijājan
- فِجَاجًا
- wide"
That you may follow therein roads of passage.'" (QS. [71] Nuh: 20)Tafsir
