Al-Ma'arij [70]: 25 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

لِّلسَّاۤىِٕلِ وَالْمَحْرُوْمِۖ (المعارج : ٧٠)

lilssāili
لِّلسَّآئِلِ
For the one who asks
wal-maḥrūmi
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
and the deprived

Transliteration:

Lissaaa 'ili walmahroom (QS. al-Maʿārij:25)

English / Sahih Translation:

For the petitioner and the deprived – (QS. Al-Ma'arij, ayah 25)

for the beggar and the deprived, the [latter being the] one who refrains from begging and thus becomes deprived,

And those in whose wealth there is a recognized right. For the one who asks, and for the deprived.

meaning, in their wealth is a determined portion for those who are in need.

Concerning Allah's statement,

وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
