Al-Qur'an Surah Al-A'raf Verse 8
Al-A'raf [7]: 8 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَىِٕذِ ِۨالْحَقُّۚ فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ (الأعراف : ٧)
- wal-waznu
- وَٱلْوَزْنُ
- And the weighing
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that day
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّۚ
- (will be) the truth
- faman
- فَمَن
- So whose -
- thaqulat
- ثَقُلَتْ
- (will be) heavy
- mawāzīnuhu
- مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
- his scales
- fa-ulāika
- فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- then those
- humu
- هُمُ
- [they]
- l-muf'liḥūna
- ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
- (will be) the successful ones
Transliteration:
Walwaznu Yawma'izinil haqq; faman saqulat mawaa zeenuhoo fa-ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon(QS. al-ʾAʿrāf:8)
English / Sahih Translation:
And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy – it is they who will be the successful. (QS. Al-A'raf, ayah 8)

The Weighing (of deeds) on that day is definite. As for those whose scales are heavy, they will be the successful ones.

On that day the weighing (- the judging of deeds) will be just and true, then he whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, it is these only who shall attain their goal.

And the weight/measure that day (is) the correct/deserved/just , so who his (whose) weights/measures became heavy, so those, they are the successful/winners.

Tafsir jalalayn
The weighing, of deeds or of the scrolls of these [deeds] shall be -- in a balance that has a tongue and two palms [as scales], as reported in a hadth -- on that day, that is, on the day of the questioning mentioned, namely, the Day of Resurrection, the true [weighing], the fair [weighing] (al-haqq, `the true', is an adjectival qualification of al-wazn, `the weighing'). As for those whose scales are heavy, with good deeds, they are the successful, the triumphant.

The Meaning of weighing the Deeds
Allah said,
وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَيِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـيِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـيِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِأيَاتِنَا يِظْلِمُونَ
