Al-Qur'an Surah Al-A'raf Verse 36

Those who reject Our verses and stand arrogant against them, - they are the inmates of the Fire. There they shall live forever.

And those who lied/denied/falsified, with Our verses/evidences and they became arrogant from it, those are the fire`s owners/company/friends, they are in it immortally/eternally .

And those who deny Our signs and scorn them, not believing in them -- those shall be the inhabitants of the Fire, abiding therein.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِأيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَا

on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. But those who reject Our Ayat and treat them with arrogance,

meaning, their hearts denied the Ayat and they were too arrogant to abide by them,

أُوْلَـَيِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ



they are the dwellers of the Fire, they will abide therein forever.
