Al-Qur'an Surah Al-A'raf Verse 140

He said, “Shall I seek any one other than Allah as God for you, while He has given you excellence over the (people of all the) worlds.”

Reminding the Children of Israel of Allah's Blessings for Them

Allah tells;

قَالَ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَبْغِيكُمْ إِلَـهًا

وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ



وَإِذْ أَنجَيْنَاكُم مِّنْ الِ فِرْعَونَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوَءَ الْعَذَابِ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبْنَاءكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءكُمْ

وَفِي ذَلِكُم بَلء مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ
