اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْا اِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طٰۤىِٕفٌ مِّنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ تَذَكَّرُوْا فَاِذَا هُمْ مُّبْصِرُوْنَۚ ٢٠١
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ittaqaw
- ٱتَّقَوْا۟
- fear (Allah)
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- massahum
- مَسَّهُمْ
- touches them
- ṭāifun
- طَٰٓئِفٌ
- an evil thought
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-shayṭāni
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
- the Shaitaan
- tadhakkarū
- تَذَكَّرُوا۟
- they remember (Allah)
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- and then
- hum
- هُم
- they
- mub'ṣirūna
- مُّبْصِرُونَ
- (are) those who see (aright)
Indeed, those who fear Allah – when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 201)Tafsir
وَاِخْوَانُهُمْ يَمُدُّوْنَهُمْ فِى الْغَيِّ ثُمَّ لَا يُقْصِرُوْنَ ٢٠٢
- wa-ikh'wānuhum
- وَإِخْوَٰنُهُمْ
- But their brothers
- yamuddūnahum
- يَمُدُّونَهُمْ
- they plunge them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ghayi
- ٱلْغَىِّ
- the error
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yuq'ṣirūna
- يُقْصِرُونَ
- they cease
But their brothers – they [i.e., the devils] increase them in error; then they do not stop short. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 202)Tafsir
وَاِذَا لَمْ تَأْتِهِمْ بِاٰيَةٍ قَالُوْا لَوْلَا اجْتَبَيْتَهَاۗ قُلْ اِنَّمَآ اَتَّبِعُ مَا يُوْحٰٓى اِلَيَّ مِنْ رَّبِّيْۗ هٰذَا بَصَاۤىِٕرُ مِنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَّرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ ٢٠٣
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- tatihim
- تَأْتِهِم
- you bring them
- biāyatin
- بِـَٔايَةٍ
- a Sign
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- they say
- lawlā
- لَوْلَا
- "Why (have) not
- ij'tabaytahā
- ٱجْتَبَيْتَهَاۚ
- you devised it?"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- innamā
- إِنَّمَآ
- "Only
- attabiʿu
- أَتَّبِعُ
- I follow
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yūḥā
- يُوحَىٰٓ
- is revealed
- ilayya
- إِلَىَّ
- to me
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbī
- رَّبِّىۚ
- my Lord
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This (is)
- baṣāiru
- بَصَآئِرُ
- enlightenment
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbikum
- رَّبِّكُمْ
- your Lord
- wahudan
- وَهُدًى
- and guidance
- waraḥmatun
- وَرَحْمَةٌ
- and mercy
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- who believe"
And when you, [O Muhammad], do not bring them a sign [i.e., miracle], they say, "Why have you not contrived it?" Say, "I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This [Quran] is enlightenment from your Lord and guidance and mercy for a people who believe." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 203)Tafsir
وَاِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْاٰنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوْا لَهٗ وَاَنْصِتُوْا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ٢٠٤
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- quri-a
- قُرِئَ
- is recited
- l-qur'ānu
- ٱلْقُرْءَانُ
- the Quran
- fa-is'tamiʿū
- فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟
- then listen
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to it
- wa-anṣitū
- وَأَنصِتُوا۟
- and pay attention
- laʿallakum
- لَعَلَّكُمْ
- so that you may
- tur'ḥamūna
- تُرْحَمُونَ
- receive mercy
So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 204)Tafsir
وَاذْكُرْ رَّبَّكَ فِيْ نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعًا وَّخِيْفَةً وَّدُوْنَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْاٰصَالِ وَلَا تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْغٰفِلِيْنَ ٢٠٥
- wa-udh'kur
- وَٱذْكُر
- And remember
- rabbaka
- رَّبَّكَ
- your Lord
- fī
- فِى
- in
- nafsika
- نَفْسِكَ
- yourself
- taḍarruʿan
- تَضَرُّعًا
- humbly
- wakhīfatan
- وَخِيفَةً
- and (in) fear
- wadūna
- وَدُونَ
- and without
- l-jahri
- ٱلْجَهْرِ
- the loudness
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-qawli
- ٱلْقَوْلِ
- [the] words
- bil-ghuduwi
- بِٱلْغُدُوِّ
- in the mornings
- wal-āṣāli
- وَٱلْءَاصَالِ
- and (in) the evenings
- walā
- وَلَا
- And (do) not
- takun
- تَكُن
- be
- mina
- مِّنَ
- among
- l-ghāfilīna
- ٱلْغَٰفِلِينَ
- the heedless
And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech – in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 205)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهٖ وَيُسَبِّحُوْنَهٗ وَلَهٗ يَسْجُدُوْنَ ࣖ ۩ ٢٠٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- (are) near
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yastakbirūna
- يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
- (do) they turn away in pride
- ʿan
- عَنْ
- from
- ʿibādatihi
- عِبَادَتِهِۦ
- His worship
- wayusabbiḥūnahu
- وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُۥ
- And they glorify Him
- walahu
- وَلَهُۥ
- and to Him
- yasjudūna
- يَسْجُدُونَ۩
- they prostrate
Indeed, those who are near your Lord [i.e., the angels] are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, and they exalt Him, and to Him they prostrate. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 206)Tafsir
