اَيُشْرِكُوْنَ مَا لَا يَخْلُقُ شَيْـًٔا وَّهُمْ يُخْلَقُوْنَۖ ١٩١
- ayush'rikūna
- أَيُشْرِكُونَ
- Do they associate
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lā
- لَا
- (can)not
- yakhluqu
- يَخْلُقُ
- create
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- anything
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- yukh'laqūna
- يُخْلَقُونَ
- are created?
Do they associate with Him those who create nothing and they are [themselves] created? (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 191)Tafsir
وَلَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ لَهُمْ نَصْرًا وَّلَآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَنْصُرُوْنَ ١٩٢
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- yastaṭīʿūna
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- they are able
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- to (give) them
- naṣran
- نَصْرًا
- any help
- walā
- وَلَآ
- and not
- anfusahum
- أَنفُسَهُمْ
- themselves
- yanṣurūna
- يَنصُرُونَ
- can they help
And they [i.e., the false deities] are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 192)Tafsir
وَاِنْ تَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى لَا يَتَّبِعُوْكُمْۗ سَوَۤاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ اَدَعَوْتُمُوْهُمْ اَمْ اَنْتُمْ صَامِتُوْنَ ١٩٣
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- tadʿūhum
- تَدْعُوهُمْ
- you call them
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰ
- the guidance
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yattabiʿūkum
- يَتَّبِعُوكُمْۚ
- will they follow you
- sawāon
- سَوَآءٌ
- (It is) same
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- for you
- adaʿawtumūhum
- أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ
- whether you call them
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- you
- ṣāmitūna
- صَٰمِتُونَ
- remain silent
And if you [believers] invite them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is all the same for you whether you invite them or you are silent. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 193)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ عِبَادٌ اَمْثَالُكُمْ فَادْعُوْهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١٩٤
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- tadʿūna
- تَدْعُونَ
- you call
- min
- مِن
- from
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- ʿibādun
- عِبَادٌ
- (are) slaves
- amthālukum
- أَمْثَالُكُمْۖ
- like you
- fa-id'ʿūhum
- فَٱدْعُوهُمْ
- So invoke them
- falyastajībū
- فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟
- and let them respond
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you are
- ṣādiqīna
- صَٰدِقِينَ
- truthful
Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants [i.e., creations] like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 194)Tafsir
اَلَهُمْ اَرْجُلٌ يَّمْشُوْنَ بِهَآ ۖ اَمْ لَهُمْ اَيْدٍ يَّبْطِشُوْنَ بِهَآ ۖ اَمْ لَهُمْ اَعْيُنٌ يُّبْصِرُوْنَ بِهَآ ۖ اَمْ لَهُمْ اٰذَانٌ يَّسْمَعُوْنَ بِهَاۗ قُلِ ادْعُوْا شُرَكَاۤءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيْدُوْنِ فَلَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ ١٩٥
- alahum
- أَلَهُمْ
- Are for them
- arjulun
- أَرْجُلٌ
- feet
- yamshūna
- يَمْشُونَ
- (to) walk
- bihā
- بِهَآۖ
- with [it]
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- aydin
- أَيْدٍ
- hands
- yabṭishūna
- يَبْطِشُونَ
- (to) hold
- bihā
- بِهَآۖ
- with [it]
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- aʿyunun
- أَعْيُنٌ
- eyes
- yub'ṣirūna
- يُبْصِرُونَ
- (to) see
- bihā
- بِهَآۖ
- with [it]
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ādhānun
- ءَاذَانٌ
- ears
- yasmaʿūna
- يَسْمَعُونَ
- (to) hear
- bihā
- بِهَاۗ
- with [it]?
- quli
- قُلِ
- Say
- id'ʿū
- ٱدْعُوا۟
- "Call
- shurakāakum
- شُرَكَآءَكُمْ
- your partners
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- kīdūni
- كِيدُونِ
- scheme against me
- falā
- فَلَا
- and (do) not
- tunẓirūni
- تُنظِرُونِ
- give me respite"
Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 195)Tafsir
اِنَّ وَلِيِّ َۧ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ نَزَّلَ الْكِتٰبَۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ١٩٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- waliyyiya
- وَلِۦِّىَ
- my protector
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- the One Who
- nazzala
- نَزَّلَ
- revealed
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَۖ
- the Book
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- yatawallā
- يَتَوَلَّى
- protects
- l-ṣāliḥīna
- ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
- the righteous
Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 196)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَنْصُرُوْنَ ١٩٧
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those whom
- tadʿūna
- تَدْعُونَ
- you invoke
- min
- مِن
- from
- dūnihi
- دُونِهِۦ
- besides Him
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yastaṭīʿūna
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- they are able
- naṣrakum
- نَصْرَكُمْ
- (to) help you
- walā
- وَلَآ
- and not
- anfusahum
- أَنفُسَهُمْ
- themselves
- yanṣurūna
- يَنصُرُونَ
- can they help
And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 197)Tafsir
وَاِنْ تَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى لَا يَسْمَعُوْاۗ وَتَرٰىهُمْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٩٨
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- tadʿūhum
- تَدْعُوهُمْ
- you call them
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰ
- the guidance
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yasmaʿū
- يَسْمَعُوا۟ۖ
- do they not
- watarāhum
- وَتَرَىٰهُمْ
- And you see them
- yanẓurūna
- يَنظُرُونَ
- looking
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- at you
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- but they
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yub'ṣirūna
- يُبْصِرُونَ
- (do) they see
And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 198)Tafsir
خُذِ الْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْعُرْفِ وَاَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْجَاهِلِيْنَ ١٩٩
- khudhi
- خُذِ
- Hold
- l-ʿafwa
- ٱلْعَفْوَ
- (to) forgiveness
- wamur
- وَأْمُرْ
- and enjoin
- bil-ʿur'fi
- بِٱلْعُرْفِ
- the good
- wa-aʿriḍ
- وَأَعْرِضْ
- and turn away
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- from
- l-jāhilīna
- ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
- the ignorant
Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 199)Tafsir
وَاِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهٗ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ٢٠٠
- wa-immā
- وَإِمَّا
- And if
- yanzaghannaka
- يَنزَغَنَّكَ
- an evil suggestion comes to you
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-shayṭāni
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
- [the] Shaitaan
- nazghun
- نَزْغٌ
- [an evil suggestion]
- fa-is'taʿidh
- فَٱسْتَعِذْ
- then seek refuge
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِۚ
- in Allah
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- samīʿun
- سَمِيعٌ
- (is) All-Hearing
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌ
- All-Knowing
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 200)Tafsir
