وَمِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ اُمَّةٌ يَّهْدُوْنَ بِالْحَقِّ وَبِهٖ يَعْدِلُوْنَ ࣖ ١٨١
- wamimman
- وَمِمَّنْ
- And of (those) whom
- khalaqnā
- خَلَقْنَآ
- We have created
- ummatun
- أُمَّةٌ
- (is) a nation
- yahdūna
- يَهْدُونَ
- who guides
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- with the truth
- wabihi
- وَبِهِۦ
- and thereby
- yaʿdilūna
- يَعْدِلُونَ
- they establish justice
And among those We created is a community which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 181)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٨٢
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- But those who
- kadhabū
- كَذَّبُوا۟
- denied
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- Our Signs
- sanastadrijuhum
- سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم
- We will gradually lead them
- min
- مِّنْ
- from
- ḥaythu
- حَيْثُ
- where
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- they know
But those who deny Our signs – We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 182)Tafsir
وَاُمْلِيْ لَهُمْ ۗاِنَّ كَيْدِيْ مَتِيْنٌ ١٨٣
- wa-um'lī
- وَأُمْلِى
- And I will give respite
- lahum
- لَهُمْۚ
- to them
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- kaydī
- كَيْدِى
- My plan
- matīnun
- مَتِينٌ
- (is) firm
And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 183)Tafsir
اَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوْا مَا بِصَاحِبِهِمْ مِّنْ جِنَّةٍۗ اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ١٨٤
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Do not
- yatafakkarū
- يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ۗ
- they reflect?
- mā
- مَا
- Not
- biṣāḥibihim
- بِصَاحِبِهِم
- in their companion
- min
- مِّن
- [of]
- jinnatin
- جِنَّةٍۚ
- (is) any madness
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- he
- illā
- إِلَّا
- (is) but
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌ
- a warner
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear
Then do they not give thought? There is in their companion [i.e., Muhammad (^)] no madness. He is not but a clear warner. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 184)Tafsir
اَوَلَمْ يَنْظُرُوْا فِيْ مَلَكُوْتِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ وَّاَنْ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَّكُوْنَ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ اَجَلُهُمْۖ فَبِاَيِّ حَدِيْثٍۢ بَعْدَهٗ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٨٥

- أَوَلَمْ
- Do not
- yanẓurū
- يَنظُرُوا۟
- they look
- fī
- فِى
- in
- malakūti
- مَلَكُوتِ
- (the) dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- has (been) created
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (by) Allah
- min
- مِن
- of
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- (every)thing
- wa-an
- وَأَنْ
- and that
- ʿasā
- عَسَىٰٓ
- perhaps
- an
- أَن
- [that]
- yakūna
- يَكُونَ
- has
- qadi
- قَدِ
- verily
- iq'taraba
- ٱقْتَرَبَ
- come near
- ajaluhum
- أَجَلُهُمْۖ
- their term?
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So in what
- ḥadīthin
- حَدِيثٍۭ
- statement
- baʿdahu
- بَعْدَهُۥ
- after this
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- will they believe?
Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement [i.e., message] hereafter will they believe? (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 185)Tafsir
مَنْ يُّضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهٗ ۖوَيَذَرُهُمْ فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ ١٨٦
- man
- مَن
- Whoever
- yuḍ'lili
- يُضْلِلِ
- (is) let go astray
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (by) Allah
- falā
- فَلَا
- then (there is) no
- hādiya
- هَادِىَ
- guide
- lahu
- لَهُۥۚ
- for him
- wayadharuhum
- وَيَذَرُهُمْ
- And He leaves them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- ṭugh'yānihim
- طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ
- their transgression
- yaʿmahūna
- يَعْمَهُونَ
- wandering blindly
Whoever Allah sends astray – there is no guide for him. And He leaves them in their transgression, wandering blindly. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 186)Tafsir
يَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرْسٰىهَاۗ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّيْۚ لَا يُجَلِّيْهَا لِوَقْتِهَآ اِلَّا هُوَۘ ثَقُلَتْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ لَا تَأْتِيْكُمْ اِلَّا بَغْتَةً ۗيَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ كَاَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَاۗ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٨٧

- يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ
- They ask you
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- about
- l-sāʿati
- ٱلسَّاعَةِ
- the Hour
- ayyāna
- أَيَّانَ
- when will be
- mur'sāhā
- مُرْسَىٰهَاۖ
- its appointed time?
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- "Only
- ʿil'muhā
- عِلْمُهَا
- its knowledge
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- (is) with
- rabbī
- رَبِّىۖ
- my Lord
- lā
- لَا
- no (one)
- yujallīhā
- يُجَلِّيهَا
- can reveal [it]
- liwaqtihā
- لِوَقْتِهَآ
- its time
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- huwa
- هُوَۚ
- Him
- thaqulat
- ثَقُلَتْ
- It lays heavily
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- tatīkum
- تَأْتِيكُمْ
- will it come to you
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- baghtatan
- بَغْتَةًۗ
- suddenly"
- yasalūnaka
- يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ
- They ask you
- ka-annaka
- كَأَنَّكَ
- as if you
- ḥafiyyun
- حَفِىٌّ
- (were) well informed
- ʿanhā
- عَنْهَاۖ
- about it
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- "Only
- ʿil'muhā
- عِلْمُهَا
- its knowledge
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- (is) with
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- walākinna
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- akthara
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know"
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most of the people do not know." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 187)Tafsir
قُلْ لَّآ اَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِيْ نَفْعًا وَّلَا ضَرًّا اِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ ۗوَلَوْ كُنْتُ اَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ لَاسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِۛ وَمَا مَسَّنِيَ السُّوْۤءُ ۛاِنْ اَنَا۠ اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ وَّبَشِيْرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ ࣖ ١٨٨

- إِلَّا
- except
- mā
- مَا
- what
- shāa
- شَآءَ
- wills
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۚ
- Allah
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- kuntu
- كُنتُ
- I would
- aʿlamu
- أَعْلَمُ
- know
- l-ghayba
- ٱلْغَيْبَ
- (of) the unseen
- la-is'takthartu
- لَٱسْتَكْثَرْتُ
- surely I could have multiplied
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-khayri
- ٱلْخَيْرِ
- the good
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- massaniya
- مَسَّنِىَ
- (could) have touched me
- l-sūu
- ٱلسُّوٓءُۚ
- the evil
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- anā
- أَنَا۠
- (am) I
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌ
- a warner
- wabashīrun
- وَبَشِيرٌ
- and a bearer of good tidings
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- to a people
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- who believe"
Say, "I hold not for myself [the power of] benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed. And if I knew the unseen, I could have acquired much wealth, and no harm would have touched me. I am not except a warner and a bringer of good tidings to a people who believe." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 188)Tafsir
۞ هُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ مِّنْ نَّفْسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ وَّجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ اِلَيْهَاۚ فَلَمَّا تَغَشّٰىهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلًا خَفِيْفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهٖ ۚفَلَمَّآ اَثْقَلَتْ دَّعَوَا اللّٰهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَىِٕنْ اٰتَيْتَنَا صَالِحًا لَّنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيْنَ ١٨٩

- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- khalaqakum
- خَلَقَكُم
- created you
- min
- مِّن
- from
- nafsin
- نَّفْسٍ
- a soul
- wāḥidatin
- وَٰحِدَةٍ
- single
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- and made
- min'hā
- مِنْهَا
- from it
- zawjahā
- زَوْجَهَا
- its mate
- liyaskuna
- لِيَسْكُنَ
- that he might live
- ilayhā
- إِلَيْهَاۖ
- with her
- falammā
- فَلَمَّا
- And when
- taghashāhā
- تَغَشَّىٰهَا
- he covers her
- ḥamalat
- حَمَلَتْ
- she carries
- ḥamlan
- حَمْلًا
- a burden
- khafīfan
- خَفِيفًا
- light
- famarrat
- فَمَرَّتْ
- and continues
- bihi
- بِهِۦۖ
- with it
- falammā
- فَلَمَّآ
- But when
- athqalat
- أَثْقَلَت
- she grows heavy
- daʿawā
- دَّعَوَا
- they both invoke
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- rabbahumā
- رَبَّهُمَا
- their Lord
- la-in
- لَئِنْ
- "If
- ātaytanā
- ءَاتَيْتَنَا
- You give us
- ṣāliḥan
- صَٰلِحًا
- a righteous (child)
- lanakūnanna
- لَّنَكُونَنَّ
- surely we will be
- mina
- مِنَ
- among
- l-shākirīna
- ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
- the thankful"
It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. And when he [i.e., man] covers her, she carries a light burden [i.e., a pregnancy] and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful." (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 189)Tafsir
فَلَمَّآ اٰتٰىهُمَا صَالِحًا جَعَلَا لَهٗ شُرَكَاۤءَ فِيْمَآ اٰتٰىهُمَا ۚفَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ١٩٠
- falammā
- فَلَمَّآ
- But when
- ātāhumā
- ءَاتَىٰهُمَا
- He gives them
- ṣāliḥan
- صَٰلِحًا
- a good (child)
- jaʿalā
- جَعَلَا
- they make
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for Him
- shurakāa
- شُرَكَآءَ
- partners
- fīmā
- فِيمَآ
- in what
- ātāhumā
- ءَاتَىٰهُمَاۚ
- He has given them
- fataʿālā
- فَتَعَٰلَى
- But exalted
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yush'rikūna
- يُشْرِكُونَ
- they associate (with Him)
But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them. Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him. (QS. [7] Al-A'raf: 190)Tafsir
