Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Haqqah Verse 31

Al-Haqqah [69]: 31 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

ثُمَّ الْجَحِيْمَ صَلُّوْهُۙ (الحاقة : ٦٩)

Then
l-jaḥīma
ٱلْجَحِيمَ
(into) the Hellfire
ṣallūhu
صَلُّوهُ
burn him

Transliteration:

Summal Jaheema sallooh (QS. al-Ḥāq̈q̈ah:31)

English / Sahih Translation:

Then into Hellfire drive him. (QS. Al-Haqqah, ayah 31)

Tafsir jalalayn

then admit him into Hell-fire, into the scorching Fire,

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

Seize him and fetter him; then throw him in the blazing Fire.

meaning, He will command the guardians of Hell to forcibly remove him from the gathering place,

fetter him - meaning put iron collars on his neck -

then carry him off to Hell and cast him into it, meaning they will submerge him in it.

Allah said,

ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ
