Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Qalam Verse 25
Al-Qalam [68]: 25 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَّغَدَوْا عَلٰى حَرْدٍ قَادِرِيْنَ (القلم : ٦٨)
- waghadaw
- وَغَدَوْا۟
- And they went early
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- with
- ḥardin
- حَرْدٍ
- determination
- qādirīna
- قَٰدِرِينَ
- able
Transliteration:
Wa ghadaw 'alaa hardin qaadireen(QS. al-Q̈alam:25)
English / Sahih Translation:
And they went early in determination, [assuming themselves] able. (QS. Al-Qalam, ayah 25)

وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْدٍ
And they went in the morning with Hard...
meaning, with strength and power.
قَادِرِينَ
Qadirin, meaning,
they thought they had power to do what they claimed and what they were desiring.
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ
