Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk Verse 26

Al-Mulk [67]: 26 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

قُلْ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۖوَاِنَّمَآ اَنَا۠ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ (الملك : ٦٧)

Transliteration:

Qul innamal 'ilmu 'indallaahi wa innamaaa ana nazeerum mubeen (QS. al-Mulk:26)

English / Sahih Translation:

Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." (QS. Al-Mulk, ayah 26)

Say, “The knowledge (of that Day) is only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.

Tafsir jalalayn

Say; `The knowledge, of its coming, is only with God, and I am but a plain warner', one whose warning is plain.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِندَ اللَّهِ

Say;

"The knowledge is with Allah only..."

meaning, `no one knows the time of the Day of Judgement exactly except Allah, but He has commanded me to inform you that it is real and it will definitely occur, so beware of it.'

وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ




and I am only a plain Warner.

meaning, `I am only obligated to convey, and verily I have performed my duty (of conveying) towards you.'
