Surah At-Talaq - Page: 2

(The Divorce)

11

رَّسُوْلًا يَّتْلُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ مُبَيِّنٰتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِۗ وَمَنْ يُّؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُّدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًاۗ قَدْ اَحْسَنَ اللّٰهُ لَهٗ رِزْقًا ١١

A Messenger
yatlū
يَتْلُوا۟
reciting
ʿalaykum
عَلَيْكُمْ
to you
āyāti
ءَايَٰتِ
(the) Verses
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
mubayyinātin
مُبَيِّنَٰتٍ
clear
liyukh'rija
لِّيُخْرِجَ
that he may bring out
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
waʿamilū
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
l-ṣāliḥāti
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds
mina
مِنَ
from
l-ẓulumāti
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
the darkness[es]
ilā
إِلَى
towards
l-nūri
ٱلنُّورِۚ
the light
waman
وَمَن
And whoever
yu'min
يُؤْمِنۢ
believes
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
wayaʿmal
وَيَعْمَلْ
and does
ṣāliḥan
صَٰلِحًا
righteousness
yud'khil'hu
يُدْخِلْهُ
He will admit him
jannātin
جَنَّٰتٍ
(into) Gardens
tajrī
تَجْرِى
flow
min
مِن
from
taḥtihā
تَحْتِهَا
underneath it
l-anhāru
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the rivers
khālidīna
خَٰلِدِينَ
abiding
fīhā
فِيهَآ
therein
abadan
أَبَدًاۖ
forever
qad
قَدْ
Indeed
aḥsana
أَحْسَنَ
Has been (granted) good
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
lahu
لَهُۥ
for him
riz'qan
رِزْقًا
provision
[He sent] a Messenger [i.e., Muhammad (^)] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allah that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness – He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allah will have perfected for him a provision. (QS. [65] At-Talaq: 11)
Tafsir
12

اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ وَّمِنَ الْاَرْضِ مِثْلَهُنَّۗ يَتَنَزَّلُ الْاَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ەۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ قَدْ اَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ࣖ ١٢

ٱللَّهُ
Allah
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
(is) He Who
khalaqa
خَلَقَ
created
sabʿa
سَبْعَ
seven
samāwātin
سَمَٰوَٰتٍ
heavens
wamina
وَمِنَ
and of
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
mith'lahunna
مِثْلَهُنَّ
(the) like of them
yatanazzalu
يَتَنَزَّلُ
Descends
l-amru
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the command
baynahunna
بَيْنَهُنَّ
between them
litaʿlamū
لِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟
that you may know
anna
أَنَّ
that
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
kulli
كُلِّ
every
shayin
شَىْءٍ
thing
qadīrun
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
wa-anna
وَأَنَّ
And that
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
qad
قَدْ
indeed
aḥāṭa
أَحَاطَ
encompasses
bikulli
بِكُلِّ
all
shayin
شَىْءٍ
things
ʿil'man
عِلْمًۢا
(in) knowledge
It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge. (QS. [65] At-Talaq: 12)
