Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Munafiqun Verse 11

Al-Munafiqun [63]: 11 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَلَنْ يُّؤَخِّرَ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِذَا جَاۤءَ اَجَلُهَاۗ وَاللّٰهُ خَبِيْرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ (المنافقون : ٦٣)

walan
وَلَن
But never
yu-akhira
يُؤَخِّرَ
will (be) delayed
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
nafsan
نَفْسًا
a soul
idhā
إِذَا
when
jāa
جَآءَ
has come
ajaluhā
أَجَلُهَاۚ
its term
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
khabīrun
خَبِيرٌۢ
(is) All-Aware
bimā
بِمَا
of what
taʿmalūna
تَعْمَلُونَ
you do

Transliteration:

Wa lany yu 'akhkhiral laahu nafsan izaa jaaa'a ajaluhaa; wallaahu khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon (QS. al-Munāfiq̈ūn:11)

English / Sahih Translation:

But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Aware of what you do. (QS. Al-Munafiqun, ayah 11)

But Allah will never give respite to anyone, once his appointed time will come. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Tafsir jalalayn

But God will never reprieve a soul when its term has come. And God is Aware of what you do (ta`malna; also read [as the third person plural] ya`malna, `they do'). Meccan or Medinese, consisting of 18 verses.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَلَن يُوَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهَا

And Allah grants respite to none when his appointed time comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

meaning, when the time of death comes, no one will be granted respite.

Allah said,

وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ



And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

This is the end of the Tafsir of Surah Al-Munafiqun. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and all success and immunity from error come from Him
