Al-Qur'an Surah Al-An'am Verse 64

Say, “Allah delivers you from it and from every pain; Yet still, you associate partners with Him.”

Say, to them; `God delivers you (read yunjkum or yunajjkum) from that and from every distress, [from every] other anxiety. Yet you associate others with Him'.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

Allah said,

قُلِ اللّهُ يُنَجِّيكُم مِّنْهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرْبٍ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ



Say;"Allah rescues you from these (dangers) and from all distress, and yet you commit Shirk."

meaning, yet you call other gods besides Him in times of comfort.

Allah said
