Al-Qur'an Surah Al-An'am Verse 48
Al-An'am [6]: 48 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَۚ فَمَنْ اٰمَنَ وَاَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ (الأنعام : ٦)

- We send

- ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
- the Messengers

- إِلَّا

- مُبَشِّرِينَ
- (as) bearer of glad tidings
- wamundhirīna
- وَمُنذِرِينَۖ
- and (as) warners
- faman
- فَمَنْ
- So whoever
- āmana
- ءَامَنَ

- wa-aṣlaḥa
- وَأَصْلَحَ
- and reformed
- falā
- فَلَا
- then no
- khawfun
- خَوْفٌ
- fear
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- upon them
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- yaḥzanūna
- يَحْزَنُونَ
- will grieve
Transliteration:
Wa maa nursilul mursaleena illaa mubashshireena wa munzireena faman aamana wa aslaha falaa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon(QS. al-ʾAnʿām:48)
English / Sahih Translation:
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (QS. Al-An'am, ayah 48)

And We do not sent the messengers except (as) announcers of good news and warners/givers of notice, so who believed and corrected/repaired, so no fear on them and nor they be sad/grievous.

Tafsir jalalayn
We do not send messengers, except as bearers of good tidings, to those who believe, [good tidings] of Paradise, and as warners, to those who disbelieve, [warning] of the Fire. Whoever believes, in them, and makes amends, in his deeds, no fear shall befall them, neither shall they grieve, in the Hereafter.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ
And We send not the Messengers but as bearers of glad tidings and as warners.
means, the Messengers bring good news to Allah's servants, as well as, command all that is good and righteous. They also warn those who disbelieve in Allah of His anger and of all types of torment.
Allah said,
فَمَنْ امَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ
So whosoever believes and does righteous good deeds,
meaning, whoever believes in his heart with what the Messengers were sent with and makes his works righteous by imitating them;
فَلَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ
upon such shall come no fear,
concerning the future,
وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
nor shall they grieve.
about what they missed in the past and left behind them in this world. Certainly, Allah will be the Wali and Protector over what they left behind.
Allah said next,
وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِأيَاتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ
