Al-Qur'an Surah Al-An'am Verse 30
Al-An'am [6]: 30 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَلَوْ تَرٰٓى اِذْ وُقِفُوْا عَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَ اَلَيْسَ هٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۗقَالُوْا بَلٰى وَرَبِّنَا ۗقَالَ فَذُوْقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ ࣖ (الأنعام : ٦)

- And if

- تَرَىٰٓ
- you (could) see

- إِذْ

- وُقِفُوا۟
- they will be made to stand
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- before
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْۚ
- their Lord

- قَالَ
- He (will) say
- alaysa
- أَلَيْسَ
- "Is not
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۚ
- the truth?"
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They will say
- balā
- بَلَىٰ
- "Yes
- warabbinā
- وَرَبِّنَاۚ
- by our Lord"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He (will) say
- fadhūqū
- فَذُوقُوا۟
- "So taste
- l-ʿadhāba
- ٱلْعَذَابَ
- the punishment
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used to
- takfurūna
- تَكْفُرُونَ
- disbelieve"
Transliteration:
Wa law taraa iz wuqifoo 'alaa Rabbihim; qaala alaisa haazaa bilhaqq; qaaloo balaa wa Rabbinaa; qaala fazooqul 'azaaba bimaa kuntum takfuroon(QS. al-ʾAnʿām:30)
English / Sahih Translation:
If you could but see when they will be made to stand before their Lord. He will say, "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will [then] say, "So taste the punishment for what you used to deny." (QS. Al-An'am, ayah 30)

If only you could see when they will be made to stand before their Lord! He will say, “Is this not true?” They will say, “Of course, by our Lord, it is.” He will say, “Then, taste the punishment, for you used to disbelieve.”

But if you could see when they are made to stand in their Lord’s Presence: He says: "Is not this (your being raised from the dead and gathered in My Presence) the truth?" They say: "Yes indeed, by our Lord!" He says: "Taste, then, the punishment for what you used to disbelieve."

And could you but see when they are made to stand before their Lord, (He) will say, `Is not this (Resurrection) true?´ They shall say, `Yes, indeed, by Our Lord, it is!´ He will say, `Suffer then the punishment as a result of your disbelief.´
English Literal
And if you see/understand if they stopped/arrested at their Lord, he said: "Is that not with the truth/real ?" They said: "Yes/certainly, by our Lord." He said: "So taste/experience the torture, with what you were disbelieving."

And if you see when they are placed before their Lord, He will say, “Is this not real (the truth)? They will say, “Yes - why not, by our Lord!” He will say, “So now taste the punishment - the recompense of your disbelief.”

Tafsir jalalayn
If you could see when they are made to stand, [when they are] presented, before their Lord, you would certainly see an awesome thing! He will say, to them, by the tongue of the angels, in rebuke; `Is this, resurrection and reckoning, not the truth?' They will say, `Yes indeed, by our Lord', it is the truth! He will say, `Then taste the chastisement because you disbelieved', during life on earth.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ
If you could but see when they will stand before their Lord!
in front of Him,
قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ
He will say;"Is not this the truth"
meaning, is not Resurrection true, contrary to what you thought,
قَالُواْ بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا
They will say;"Yes, by our Lord!"
قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ العَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
He will then say;"So taste you the torment because you used not to believe."
and because you today denied Resurrection. Therefore, taste the torment,
أَفَسِحْرٌ هَـذَا أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
"Is this magic, or do you not see!" (52;15
