English / Sahih Translation:
And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant. (QS. Al-An'am, ayah 111)
Mufti Taqi Usmani
If We had sent down to them the angels, and the dead had spoken to them, and (even if) We had gathered everything before them face to face, still, they were not to believe, unless Allah would have so willed. But, most of them adopt the way of ignorance.
Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Even if We had sent them the angels, made the dead speak to them, and assembled before their own eyes every sign ˹they demanded˺, they still would not have believed—unless Allah so willed. But most of them are ignorant ˹of this˺.

Even if We did send the angels down to them, and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered before them everything, they would still not believe, unless Allah so willed, but most of them are ignorant.
A. J. Arberry
Though We had sent down the angels to them, and the dead had spoken with them, had We mustered against them every thing, face to face, yet they would not have been the ones to believe, unless God willed; but most of them are ignorant.

Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).
Abul Ala Maududi
Even if We had sent angels down to them and the dead had spoken to them, and even if We had assembled before them all the things, face to face, they would still not believe unless it be Allah's will that they believe. Most of them behave in utter ignorance.

And had We sent down the angels towards them, and had the dead spoken to them, and had We raised all things in front of them, they would still not have believed unless Allah willed – but most of them are totally ignorant.
Ali Quli Qarai
Even if We had sent down angels to them, and the dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered before them all things manifestly, they would [still] not believe unless Allah wished. But most of them are ignorant.
Ali Ünal
Even if We were to send down angels to them (whenever they wished it), and the dead were to speak to them, and We were to assemble before them, face to face, all the creatures (to bear witness to the truth of the Message you bring), they would still not believe, unless God so willed (and came to their aid out of His pure grace); but most of them are ignorant (they pursue worldly pleasures completely unaware of belief and mindless of their own selves).
Amatul Rahman Omar
Even if We should send down the angels to them, and the dead should speak to them, and even if We should bring all things together face to face (to them), they would not believe unless Allâh had (enforced) His will. The thing is that most of them persist in ignorance.

And if We had sent down the angels to them, and the dead had spoken with them, as they have requested, and We had gathered against them all things in droves (read qubulan, plural of qabl, meaning `throng upon throng', or read qibalan, meaning `before their very eyes'), and they were witness to your truthfulness, yet they would not have believed, as God already knows, unless God willed, that they believe and they did; but most of them are ignorant, of this.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
Allah says;
And even if We had sent down unto them angels,
Allah says;`Had We accepted what the disbelievers asked for,' that is -- those who swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a miracle came to them they would believe in it -- `had We sent down angels,' to convey to them Allah's Message, in order to support the truth of the Messengers, as they asked, when they said,
(or you bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face). (17;92)
They said;"We shall not believe until we receive the like of that which the Messengers of Allah had received." (6;124)
and,
And those who expect not a meeting with Us said;"Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord!" Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride. (25;21)
Allah said,
and the dead had spoken unto them,
This is, to inform them of the truth of what the Messengers brought them;
and We had gathered together all things before them,
Ali bin Abi Talhah and Al-Awfi reported from Ibn Abbas,
before their eyes.
This is the view of Qatadah and Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam.
This Ayah means, if all nations were gathered before them, one after the other, and each one testifies to the truth of what the Messengers came with,
they would not have believed, unless Allah willed,
for guidance is with Allah not with them. Certainly, Allah guides whom He wills and misguides whom He wills, and He does what He wills,
(He cannot be questioned about what He does, while they will be questioned). (21;23)
This is due to His knowledge, wisdom, power, supreme authority and irresistibility.
Similarly, Allah said,
Truly, those, against whom the Word (wrath) of your Lord has been justified, will not believe. Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful torment. (10;96-97)
but most of them behave ignorantly
