وَكَيْفَ اَخَافُ مَآ اَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلَا تَخَافُوْنَ اَنَّكُمْ اَشْرَكْتُمْ بِاللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهٖ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطٰنًا ۗفَاَيُّ الْفَرِيْقَيْنِ اَحَقُّ بِالْاَمْنِۚ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَۘ ٨١
- wakayfa
- وَكَيْفَ
- And how
- akhāfu
- أَخَافُ
- could I fear
- mā
- مَآ
- what
- ashraktum
- أَشْرَكْتُمْ
- you associate (with Allah)
- walā
- وَلَا
- while not
- takhāfūna
- تَخَافُونَ
- you fear
- annakum
- أَنَّكُمْ
- that you
- ashraktum
- أَشْرَكْتُم
- have associated
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- with Allah
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yunazzil
- يُنَزِّلْ
- did He send down
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- for it
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- to you
- sul'ṭānan
- سُلْطَٰنًاۚ
- any authority
- fa-ayyu
- فَأَىُّ
- So which
- l-farīqayni
- ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ
- (of) the two parties
- aḥaqqu
- أَحَقُّ
- has more right
- bil-amni
- بِٱلْأَمْنِۖ
- to security
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- know?"
And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?" (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 81)Tafsir
اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوْٓا اِيْمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمُ الْاَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ ࣖ ٨٢
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- and (did) not
- yalbisū
- يَلْبِسُوٓا۟
- mix
- īmānahum
- إِيمَٰنَهُم
- their belief
- biẓul'min
- بِظُلْمٍ
- with wrong
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- for them
- l-amnu
- ٱلْأَمْنُ
- (is) the security
- wahum
- وَهُم
- and they
- muh'tadūna
- مُّهْتَدُونَ
- (are) rightly guided
They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice – those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 82)Tafsir
وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ اٰتَيْنٰهَآ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖۗ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجٰتٍ مَّنْ نَّشَاۤءُۗ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيْمٌ عَلِيْمٌ ٨٣
- watil'ka
- وَتِلْكَ
- And this
- ḥujjatunā
- حُجَّتُنَآ
- (is) Our argument
- ātaynāhā
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ
- We gave it
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- (to) Ibrahim
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- qawmihi
- قَوْمِهِۦۚ
- his people
- narfaʿu
- نَرْفَعُ
- We raise
- darajātin
- دَرَجَٰتٍ
- (by) degrees
- man
- مَّن
- whom
- nashāu
- نَّشَآءُۗ
- We will
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- rabbaka
- رَبَّكَ
- your Lord
- ḥakīmun
- حَكِيمٌ
- (is) All-Wise
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌ
- All-Knowing
And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 83)Tafsir
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهٗٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَۗ كُلًّا هَدَيْنَا وَنُوْحًا هَدَيْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهٖ دَاوٗدَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ وَاَيُّوْبَ وَيُوْسُفَ وَمُوْسٰى وَهٰرُوْنَ ۗوَكَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَۙ ٨٤
- wawahabnā
- وَوَهَبْنَا
- And We bestowed
- lahu
- لَهُۥٓ
- to him
- is'ḥāqa
- إِسْحَٰقَ
- Ishaq
- wayaʿqūba
- وَيَعْقُوبَۚ
- and Yaqub
- kullan
- كُلًّا
- all
- hadaynā
- هَدَيْنَاۚ
- We guided
- wanūḥan
- وَنُوحًا
- And Nuh
- hadaynā
- هَدَيْنَا
- We guided
- min
- مِن
- from
- qablu
- قَبْلُۖ
- before
- wamin
- وَمِن
- and of
- dhurriyyatihi
- ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ
- his descendents
- dāwūda
- دَاوُۥدَ
- Dawood
- wasulaymāna
- وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ
- and Sulaiman
- wa-ayyūba
- وَأَيُّوبَ
- and Ayub
- wayūsufa
- وَيُوسُفَ
- and Yusuf
- wamūsā
- وَمُوسَىٰ
- and Musa
- wahārūna
- وَهَٰرُونَۚ
- and Harun
- wakadhālika
- وَكَذَٰلِكَ
- And thus
- najzī
- نَجْزِى
- We reward
- l-muḥ'sinīna
- ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
- the good-doers
And We gave to him [i.e., Abraham] Isaac and Jacob – all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 84)Tafsir
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيٰى وَعِيْسٰى وَاِلْيَاسَۗ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَۙ ٨٥
- wazakariyyā
- وَزَكَرِيَّا
- And Zakariya
- wayaḥyā
- وَيَحْيَىٰ
- and Yahya
- waʿīsā
- وَعِيسَىٰ
- and Isa
- wa-il'yāsa
- وَإِلْيَاسَۖ
- and Ilyas -
- kullun
- كُلٌّ
- all were
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-ṣāliḥīna
- ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
- the righteous
And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias – and all were of the righteous. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 85)Tafsir
وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُوْنُسَ وَلُوْطًاۗ وَكُلًّا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ ٨٦
- wa-is'māʿīla
- وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ
- And Ismail
- wal-yasaʿa
- وَٱلْيَسَعَ
- and Al-Yasaa
- wayūnusa
- وَيُونُسَ
- and Yunus
- walūṭan
- وَلُوطًاۚ
- and Lut
- wakullan
- وَكُلًّا
- and all
- faḍḍalnā
- فَضَّلْنَا
- We preferred
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- over
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- the worlds
And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot – and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 86)Tafsir
وَمِنْ اٰبَاۤىِٕهِمْ وَذُرِّيّٰتِهِمْ وَاِخْوَانِهِمْ ۚوَاجْتَبَيْنٰهُمْ وَهَدَيْنٰهُمْ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ٨٧
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- And from
- ābāihim
- ءَابَآئِهِمْ
- their fathers
- wadhurriyyātihim
- وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ
- and their descendents
- wa-ikh'wānihim
- وَإِخْوَٰنِهِمْۖ
- and their brothers
- wa-ij'tabaynāhum
- وَٱجْتَبَيْنَٰهُمْ
- and We chose them
- wahadaynāhum
- وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمْ
- and We guided them
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- ṣirāṭin
- صِرَٰطٍ
- a path
- mus'taqīmin
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- straight
And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers – and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 87)Tafsir
ذٰلِكَ هُدَى اللّٰهِ يَهْدِيْ بِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ ۗوَلَوْ اَشْرَكُوْا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٨٨
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- hudā
- هُدَى
- (is the) Guidance
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- yahdī
- يَهْدِى
- He guides
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِۦۚ
- His slaves
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- But if
- ashrakū
- أَشْرَكُوا۟
- they (had) associated partners (with Allah)
- laḥabiṭa
- لَحَبِطَ
- surely (would be) worthless
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُم
- for them
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used to
- yaʿmalūna
- يَعْمَلُونَ
- do
That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with Allah, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 88)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ۚفَاِنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِهَا هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُوْا بِهَا بِكٰفِرِيْنَ ٨٩
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those -
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) ones whom
- ātaynāhumu
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
- We gave them
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- wal-ḥuk'ma
- وَٱلْحُكْمَ
- and the judgment
- wal-nubuwata
- وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَۚ
- and the Prophethood
- fa-in
- فَإِن
- But if
- yakfur
- يَكْفُرْ
- disbelieve
- bihā
- بِهَا
- in it
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- then indeed
- wakkalnā
- وَكَّلْنَا
- We have entrusted
- bihā
- بِهَا
- it
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- (to) a people
- laysū
- لَّيْسُوا۟
- who are not
- bihā
- بِهَا
- therein
- bikāfirīna
- بِكَٰفِرِينَ
- disbelievers
Those are the ones to whom We gave the Scripture and authority and prophethood. But if they [i.e., the disbelievers] deny it, then We have entrusted it to a people who are not therein disbelievers. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 89)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ فَبِهُدٰىهُمُ اقْتَدِهْۗ قُلْ لَّآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًاۗ اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٰى لِلْعٰلَمِيْنَ ࣖ ٩٠
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) ones whom
- hadā
- هَدَى
- (have been) guided
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۖ
- (by) Allah
- fabihudāhumu
- فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ
- so of their guidance
- iq'tadih
- ٱقْتَدِهْۗ
- you follow
- qul
- قُل
- Say
- lā
- لَّآ
- "Not
- asalukum
- أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
- I ask you
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for it
- ajran
- أَجْرًاۖ
- any reward
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- huwa
- هُوَ
- (is) it
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- dhik'rā
- ذِكْرَىٰ
- a reminder
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- for the worlds"
Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, so from their guidance take an example. Say, "I ask of you for it [i.e., this message] no payment. It is not but a reminder for the worlds." (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 90)Tafsir
