وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهٖٓ اِذْ قَالُوْا مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى بَشَرٍ مِّنْ شَيْءٍۗ قُلْ مَنْ اَنْزَلَ الْكِتٰبَ الَّذِيْ جَاۤءَ بِهٖ مُوْسٰى نُوْرًا وَّهُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ تَجْعَلُوْنَهٗ قَرَاطِيْسَ تُبْدُوْنَهَا وَتُخْفُوْنَ كَثِيْرًاۚ وَعُلِّمْتُمْ مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنْتُمْ وَلَآ اٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ ۗقُلِ اللّٰهُ ۙثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِيْ خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُوْنَ ٩١
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And (did) not
- qadarū
- قَدَرُوا۟
- they appraise
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ḥaqqa
- حَقَّ
- (with) true
- qadrihi
- قَدْرِهِۦٓ
- [of his] appraisal
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- they said
- mā
- مَآ
- "Not
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- "revealed
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- "(by) Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- basharin
- بَشَرٍ
- a human being
- min
- مِّن
- [of]
- shayin
- شَىْءٍۗ
- anything"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- man
- مَنْ
- "Who
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- revealed
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- jāa
- جَآءَ
- brought
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- [it]
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- nūran
- نُورًا
- (as) a light
- wahudan
- وَهُدًى
- and guidance
- lilnnāsi
- لِّلنَّاسِۖ
- for the people?
- tajʿalūnahu
- تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ
- You make it
- qarāṭīsa
- قَرَاطِيسَ
- (into) parchments
- tub'dūnahā
- تُبْدُونَهَا
- you disclose (some of) it
- watukh'fūna
- وَتُخْفُونَ
- and you conceal
- kathīran
- كَثِيرًاۖ
- much (of it)
- waʿullim'tum
- وَعُلِّمْتُم
- And you were taught
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- taʿlamū
- تَعْلَمُوٓا۟
- knew
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- you
- walā
- وَلَآ
- and not
- ābāukum
- ءَابَآؤُكُمْۖ
- your forefathers"
- quli
- قُلِ
- Say
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۖ
- "Allah (revealed it)"
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- dharhum
- ذَرْهُمْ
- leave them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- khawḍihim
- خَوْضِهِمْ
- their discourse
- yalʿabūna
- يَلْعَبُونَ
- playing
And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, "Allah did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not – neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allah [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 91)Tafsir
وَهٰذَا كِتٰبٌ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ مُبٰرَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ الَّذِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنْذِرَ اُمَّ الْقُرٰى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَاۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ وَهُمْ عَلٰى صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحٰفِظُوْنَ ٩٢
- wahādhā
- وَهَٰذَا
- And this
- kitābun
- كِتَٰبٌ
- (is) a Book
- anzalnāhu
- أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
- We have revealed it
- mubārakun
- مُبَارَكٌ
- blessed
- muṣaddiqu
- مُّصَدِّقُ
- confirming
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- bayna
- بَيْنَ
- (came) before
- yadayhi
- يَدَيْهِ
- its hands
- walitundhira
- وَلِتُنذِرَ
- so that you may warn
- umma
- أُمَّ
- (the) mother
- l-qurā
- ٱلْقُرَىٰ
- (of) the cities
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- and who
- ḥawlahā
- حَوْلَهَاۚ
- (are) around it
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bil-ākhirati
- بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- in the Hereafter
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- they believe
- bihi
- بِهِۦۖ
- in it
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- over
- ṣalātihim
- صَلَاتِهِمْ
- their prayers
- yuḥāfiẓūna
- يُحَافِظُونَ
- (are) guarding
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities [i.e., Makkah] and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 92)Tafsir
وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوْ قَالَ اُوْحِيَ اِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوْحَ اِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَّمَنْ قَالَ سَاُنْزِلُ مِثْلَ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ ۗوَلَوْ تَرٰٓى اِذِ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ فِيْ غَمَرٰتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ بَاسِطُوْٓا اَيْدِيْهِمْۚ اَخْرِجُوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْۗ اَلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُوْنِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنْتُمْ عَنْ اٰيٰتِهٖ تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ٩٣
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- And who
- aẓlamu
- أَظْلَمُ
- (is) more unjust
- mimmani
- مِمَّنِ
- than (one) who
- if'tarā
- ٱفْتَرَىٰ
- invents
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- about
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- kadhiban
- كَذِبًا
- a lie
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- qāla
- قَالَ
- said
- ūḥiya
- أُوحِىَ
- "It has been inspired
- ilayya
- إِلَىَّ
- to me"
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- while not
- yūḥa
- يُوحَ
- it was inspired
- ilayhi
- إِلَيْهِ
- to him
- shayon
- شَىْءٌ
- anything
- waman
- وَمَن
- and (one) who
- qāla
- قَالَ
- said
- sa-unzilu
- سَأُنزِلُ
- "I will reveal
- mith'la
- مِثْلَ
- like
- mā
- مَآ
- what
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- (has been) revealed"
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۗ
- (by) Allah"
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- tarā
- تَرَىٰٓ
- you (could) see
- idhi
- إِذِ
- when
- l-ẓālimūna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- the wrongdoers
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- ghamarāti
- غَمَرَٰتِ
- agonies
- l-mawti
- ٱلْمَوْتِ
- (of) [the] death
- wal-malāikatu
- وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
- while the Angels
- bāsiṭū
- بَاسِطُوٓا۟
- (are) stretching out
- aydīhim
- أَيْدِيهِمْ
- their hands (saying)
- akhrijū
- أَخْرِجُوٓا۟
- "Discharge
- anfusakumu
- أَنفُسَكُمُۖ
- your souls!
- l-yawma
- ٱلْيَوْمَ
- Today
- tuj'zawna
- تُجْزَوْنَ
- you will be recompensed
- ʿadhāba
- عَذَابَ
- (with) punishment
- l-hūni
- ٱلْهُونِ
- humiliating
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used to
- taqūlūna
- تَقُولُونَ
- say
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- against
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- ghayra
- غَيْرَ
- other than
- l-ḥaqi
- ٱلْحَقِّ
- the truth
- wakuntum
- وَكُنتُمْ
- and you were
- ʿan
- عَنْ
- towards
- āyātihi
- ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
- His Verses
- tastakbirūna
- تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
- being arrogant"
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant." (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 93)Tafsir
وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُوْنَا فُرَادٰى كَمَا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَّتَرَكْتُمْ مَّا خَوَّلْنٰكُمْ وَرَاۤءَ ظُهُوْرِكُمْۚ وَمَا نَرٰى مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَاۤءَكُمُ الَّذِيْنَ زَعَمْتُمْ اَنَّهُمْ فِيْكُمْ شُرَكٰۤؤُا ۗ لَقَدْ تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْكُمْ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُوْنَ ࣖ ٩٤
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- ji'tumūnā
- جِئْتُمُونَا
- you have come to Us
- furādā
- فُرَٰدَىٰ
- alone
- kamā
- كَمَا
- as
- khalaqnākum
- خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ
- We created you
- awwala
- أَوَّلَ
- (the) first
- marratin
- مَرَّةٍ
- time
- wataraktum
- وَتَرَكْتُم
- and you have left
- mā
- مَّا
- whatever
- khawwalnākum
- خَوَّلْنَٰكُمْ
- We bestowed (on) you
- warāa
- وَرَآءَ
- behind
- ẓuhūrikum
- ظُهُورِكُمْۖ
- your backs
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- narā
- نَرَىٰ
- We see
- maʿakum
- مَعَكُمْ
- with you
- shufaʿāakumu
- شُفَعَآءَكُمُ
- your intercessors
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- zaʿamtum
- زَعَمْتُمْ
- you claimed
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they (were)
- fīkum
- فِيكُمْ
- in your (matters)
- shurakāu
- شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟ۚ
- partners (with Allah)
- laqad
- لَقَد
- Indeed
- taqaṭṭaʿa
- تَّقَطَّعَ
- have been - (bonds)
- baynakum
- بَيْنَكُمْ
- between you
- waḍalla
- وَضَلَّ
- and is lost
- ʿankum
- عَنكُم
- from you
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used to
- tazʿumūna
- تَزْعُمُونَ
- claim"
[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone [i.e., individually] as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allah]. It has [all] been severed between you, and lost from you is what you used to claim." (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 94)Tafsir
۞ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ فَالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوٰىۗ يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتِ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۗذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَاَنّٰى تُؤْفَكُوْنَ ٩٥
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- fāliqu
- فَالِقُ
- (is the) Cleaver
- l-ḥabi
- ٱلْحَبِّ
- (of) the grain
- wal-nawā
- وَٱلنَّوَىٰۖ
- and the date-seed
- yukh'riju
- يُخْرِجُ
- He brings forth
- l-ḥaya
- ٱلْحَىَّ
- the living
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-mayiti
- ٱلْمَيِّتِ
- the dead
- wamukh'riju
- وَمُخْرِجُ
- and brings forth
- l-mayiti
- ٱلْمَيِّتِ
- the dead
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-ḥayi
- ٱلْحَىِّۚ
- the living
- dhālikumu
- ذَٰلِكُمُ
- That
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۖ
- (is) Allah
- fa-annā
- فَأَنَّىٰ
- so how
- tu'fakūna
- تُؤْفَكُونَ
- are you deluded?
Indeed, Allah is the cleaver of grain and date seeds. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded? (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 95)Tafsir
فَالِقُ الْاِصْبَاحِۚ وَجَعَلَ الَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَّالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ۗذٰلِكَ تَقْدِيْرُ الْعَزِيْزِ الْعَلِيْمِ ٩٦
- fāliqu
- فَالِقُ
- (He is the) Cleaver
- l-iṣ'bāḥi
- ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ
- (of) the daybreak
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- and He has made
- al-layla
- ٱلَّيْلَ
- the night
- sakanan
- سَكَنًا
- (for) rest
- wal-shamsa
- وَٱلشَّمْسَ
- and the sun
- wal-qamara
- وَٱلْقَمَرَ
- and the moon
- ḥus'bānan
- حُسْبَانًاۚ
- (for) reckoning
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- taqdīru
- تَقْدِيرُ
- (is the) ordaining
- l-ʿazīzi
- ٱلْعَزِيزِ
- (of) the All-Mighty
- l-ʿalīmi
- ٱلْعَلِيمِ
- the All-Knowing
[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 96)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُوْمَ لِتَهْتَدُوْا بِهَا فِيْ ظُلُمٰتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ ٩٧
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- made
- lakumu
- لَكُمُ
- for you
- l-nujūma
- ٱلنُّجُومَ
- the stars
- litahtadū
- لِتَهْتَدُوا۟
- that you may guide yourselves
- bihā
- بِهَا
- with them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- ẓulumāti
- ظُلُمَٰتِ
- the darkness[es]
- l-bari
- ٱلْبَرِّ
- (of) the land
- wal-baḥri
- وَٱلْبَحْرِۗ
- and the sea
- qad
- قَدْ
- Certainly
- faṣṣalnā
- فَصَّلْنَا
- We have made clear
- l-āyāti
- ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
- the Signs
- liqawmin
- لِقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- (who) know
And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 97)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْشَاَكُمْ مِّنْ نَّفْسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمُسْتَوْدَعٌ ۗقَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَّفْقَهُوْنَ ٩٨
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- (is) the One Who
- ansha-akum
- أَنشَأَكُم
- (has) produced you
- min
- مِّن
- from
- nafsin
- نَّفْسٍ
- a soul
- wāḥidatin
- وَٰحِدَةٍ
- single
- famus'taqarrun
- فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ
- so (there is) a place of dwelling
- wamus'tawdaʿun
- وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌۗ
- and a resting place
- qad
- قَدْ
- Certainly
- faṣṣalnā
- فَصَّلْنَا
- We have made clear
- l-āyāti
- ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
- the Signs
- liqawmin
- لِقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yafqahūna
- يَفْقَهُونَ
- (who) understand
And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage. We have detailed the signs for a people who understand. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 98)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۚ فَاَخْرَجْنَا بِهٖ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَاَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّا مُّتَرَاكِبًاۚ وَمِنَ النَّخْلِ مِنْ طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌ دَانِيَةٌ وَّجَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ اَعْنَابٍ وَّالزَّيْتُوْنَ وَالرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًا وَّغَيْرَ مُتَشَابِهٍۗ اُنْظُرُوْٓا اِلٰى ثَمَرِهٖٓ اِذَٓا اَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهٖ ۗاِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكُمْ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ ٩٩
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- (is) the One Who
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- sends down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- māan
- مَآءً
- water
- fa-akhrajnā
- فَأَخْرَجْنَا
- then We bring forth
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- nabāta
- نَبَاتَ
- vegetation
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- (of) every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- fa-akhrajnā
- فَأَخْرَجْنَا
- Then We bring forth
- min'hu
- مِنْهُ
- from it
- khaḍiran
- خَضِرًا
- green plant
- nukh'riju
- نُّخْرِجُ
- We bring forth
- min'hu
- مِنْهُ
- from it
- ḥabban
- حَبًّا
- grain -
- mutarākiban
- مُّتَرَاكِبًا
- thick clustered
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And from
- l-nakhli
- ٱلنَّخْلِ
- the date-palm
- min
- مِن
- from
- ṭalʿihā
- طَلْعِهَا
- its spathe
- qin'wānun
- قِنْوَانٌ
- clusters of dates
- dāniyatun
- دَانِيَةٌ
- hanging low
- wajannātin
- وَجَنَّٰتٍ
- And gardens
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- aʿnābin
- أَعْنَابٍ
- grapes
- wal-zaytūna
- وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ
- and the olives
- wal-rumāna
- وَٱلرُّمَّانَ
- and the pomegranates
- mush'tabihan
- مُشْتَبِهًا
- resembling
- waghayra
- وَغَيْرَ
- and not
- mutashābihin
- مُتَشَٰبِهٍۗ
- resembling
- unẓurū
- ٱنظُرُوٓا۟
- Look
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- at
- thamarihi
- ثَمَرِهِۦٓ
- its fruit
- idhā
- إِذَآ
- when
- athmara
- أَثْمَرَ
- it bears fruit
- wayanʿihi
- وَيَنْعِهِۦٓۚ
- and its ripening
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhālikum
- ذَٰلِكُمْ
- that
- laāyātin
- لَءَايَٰتٍ
- (are) signs
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- (who) believe
And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees – of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 99)Tafsir
وَجَعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ شُرَكَاۤءَ الْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ وَخَرَقُوْا لَهٗ بَنِيْنَ وَبَنٰتٍۢ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۗ سُبْحٰنَهٗ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَ ࣖ ١٠٠
- wajaʿalū
- وَجَعَلُوا۟
- And they make
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- with Allah
- shurakāa
- شُرَكَآءَ
- partners -
- l-jina
- ٱلْجِنَّ
- jinn
- wakhalaqahum
- وَخَلَقَهُمْۖ
- though He has created them
- wakharaqū
- وَخَرَقُوا۟
- and they falsely attribute
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to Him
- banīna
- بَنِينَ
- sons
- wabanātin
- وَبَنَٰتٍۭ
- and daughters
- bighayri
- بِغَيْرِ
- without
- ʿil'min
- عِلْمٍۚ
- knowledge
- sub'ḥānahu
- سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ
- Glorified is He
- wataʿālā
- وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
- and Exalted
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yaṣifūna
- يَصِفُونَ
- they attribute
But they have attributed to Allah partners – the jinn, while He has created them – and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe. (QS. [6] Al-An'am: 100)Tafsir
