سَبَّحَ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١
- sabbaḥa
- سَبَّحَ
- Glorifies
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- [to] Allah
- mā
- مَا
- whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ
- and the earth
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- (is) the All-Mighty
- l-ḥakīmu
- ٱلْحَكِيمُ
- the All-Wise
Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 1)Tafsir
لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُۚ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٢
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- For Him
- mul'ku
- مُلْكُ
- (is the) dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ
- and the earth
- yuḥ'yī
- يُحْىِۦ
- He gives life
- wayumītu
- وَيُمِيتُۖ
- and causes death
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) over
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- all
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- things
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 2)Tafsir
هُوَ الْاَوَّلُ وَالْاٰخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ٣
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- l-awalu
- ٱلْأَوَّلُ
- (is) the First
- wal-ākhiru
- وَٱلْءَاخِرُ
- and the Last
- wal-ẓāhiru
- وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ
- and the Apparent
- wal-bāṭinu
- وَٱلْبَاطِنُۖ
- and the Unapparent
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- bikulli
- بِكُلِّ
- (is) of every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌ
- All-Knower
He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 3)Tafsir
هُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيْهَاۗ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ اَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌۗ ٤

- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sittati
- سِتَّةِ
- six
- ayyāmin
- أَيَّامٍ
- periods
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- is'tawā
- ٱسْتَوَىٰ
- He rose
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- over
- l-ʿarshi
- ٱلْعَرْشِۚ
- the Throne
- yaʿlamu
- يَعْلَمُ
- He knows
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yaliju
- يَلِجُ
- penetrates
- fī
- فِى
- in(to)
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- yakhruju
- يَخْرُجُ
- comes forth
- min'hā
- مِنْهَا
- from it
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- yanzilu
- يَنزِلُ
- descends
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the heaven
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- yaʿruju
- يَعْرُجُ
- ascends
- fīhā
- فِيهَاۖ
- therein
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- maʿakum
- مَعَكُمْ
- (is) with you
- ayna
- أَيْنَ
- wherever
- mā
- مَا
- wherever
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْۚ
- you are
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- baṣīrun
- بَصِيرٌ
- (is) All-seer
It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 4)Tafsir
لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُوْرُ ٥
- lahu
- لَّهُۥ
- For Him
- mul'ku
- مُلْكُ
- (is the) dominion
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- wa-ilā
- وَإِلَى
- and to
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- tur'jaʿu
- تُرْجَعُ
- will be returned
- l-umūru
- ٱلْأُمُورُ
- the matters
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. And to Allah are returned [all] matters. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 5)Tafsir
يُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَيُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِۗ وَهُوَ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ٦
- yūliju
- يُولِجُ
- He merges
- al-layla
- ٱلَّيْلَ
- the night
- fī
- فِى
- into
- l-nahāri
- ٱلنَّهَارِ
- the day
- wayūliju
- وَيُولِجُ
- and He merges
- l-nahāra
- ٱلنَّهَارَ
- the day
- fī
- فِى
- into
- al-layli
- ٱلَّيْلِۚ
- the night
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌۢ
- (is) All-Knower
- bidhāti
- بِذَاتِ
- of what is in the breasts
- l-ṣudūri
- ٱلصُّدُورِ
- of what is in the breasts
He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 6)Tafsir
اٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَاَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُمْ مُّسْتَخْلَفِيْنَ فِيْهِۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَاَنْفَقُوْا لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ ٧
- āminū
- ءَامِنُوا۟
- Believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- warasūlihi
- وَرَسُولِهِۦ
- and His Messenger
- wa-anfiqū
- وَأَنفِقُوا۟
- and spend
- mimmā
- مِمَّا
- of what
- jaʿalakum
- جَعَلَكُم
- He has made you
- mus'takhlafīna
- مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ
- trustees
- fīhi
- فِيهِۖ
- therein
- fa-alladhīna
- فَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- who believe
- minkum
- مِنكُمْ
- among you
- wa-anfaqū
- وَأَنفَقُوا۟
- and spend
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ajrun
- أَجْرٌ
- (is) a reward
- kabīrun
- كَبِيرٌ
- great
Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successive inheritors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 7)Tafsir
وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ۚوَالرَّسُوْلُ يَدْعُوْكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ اَخَذَ مِيْثَاقَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٨
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And what
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- (is) for you
- lā
- لَا
- (that) not
- tu'minūna
- تُؤْمِنُونَ
- you believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِۙ
- in Allah
- wal-rasūlu
- وَٱلرَّسُولُ
- while the Messenger
- yadʿūkum
- يَدْعُوكُمْ
- calls you
- litu'minū
- لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟
- that you believe
- birabbikum
- بِرَبِّكُمْ
- in your Lord
- waqad
- وَقَدْ
- and indeed
- akhadha
- أَخَذَ
- He has taken
- mīthāqakum
- مِيثَٰقَكُمْ
- your covenant
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you are
- mu'minīna
- مُّؤْمِنِينَ
- believers
And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers? (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 8)Tafsir
هُوَ الَّذِيْ يُنَزِّلُ عَلٰى عَبْدِهٖٓ اٰيٰتٍۢ بَيِّنٰتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٩
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- yunazzilu
- يُنَزِّلُ
- sends down
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- ʿabdihi
- عَبْدِهِۦٓ
- His slave
- āyātin
- ءَايَٰتٍۭ
- Verses
- bayyinātin
- بَيِّنَٰتٍ
- clear
- liyukh'rijakum
- لِّيُخْرِجَكُم
- that He may bring you out
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-ẓulumāti
- ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
- the darkness[es]
- ilā
- إِلَى
- into
- l-nūri
- ٱلنُّورِۚ
- the light
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- bikum
- بِكُمْ
- to you
- laraūfun
- لَرَءُوفٌ
- (is the) Most Kind
- raḥīmun
- رَّحِيمٌ
- (the) Most Merciful
It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad (^)] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 9)Tafsir
وَمَا لَكُمْ اَلَّا تُنْفِقُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلِلّٰهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ لَا يَسْتَوِيْ مِنْكُمْ مَّنْ اَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْفَقُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوْاۗ وَكُلًّا وَّعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْحُسْنٰىۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ࣖ ١٠
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And what
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- (is) for you
- allā
- أَلَّا
- that not
- tunfiqū
- تُنفِقُوا۟
- you spend
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah?
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- while for Allah
- mīrāthu
- مِيرَٰثُ
- (is the) heritage
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth?
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yastawī
- يَسْتَوِى
- are equal
- minkum
- مِنكُم
- among you
- man
- مَّنْ
- (those) who
- anfaqa
- أَنفَقَ
- spent
- min
- مِن
- before
- qabli
- قَبْلِ
- before
- l-fatḥi
- ٱلْفَتْحِ
- the victory
- waqātala
- وَقَٰتَلَۚ
- and fought
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- aʿẓamu
- أَعْظَمُ
- (are) greater
- darajatan
- دَرَجَةً
- (in) degree
- mina
- مِّنَ
- than
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- anfaqū
- أَنفَقُوا۟
- spent
- min
- مِنۢ
- afterwards
- baʿdu
- بَعْدُ
- afterwards
- waqātalū
- وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ۚ
- and fought
- wakullan
- وَكُلًّا
- But to all
- waʿada
- وَعَدَ
- Allah has promised
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah has promised
- l-ḥus'nā
- ٱلْحُسْنَىٰۚ
- the best
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- khabīrun
- خَبِيرٌ
- (is) All-Aware
And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, of what you do, is Aware. (QS. [57] Al-Hadid: 10)Tafsir
