Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Waqi'ah Verse 5
Al-Waqi'ah [56]: 5 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَّبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّاۙ (الواقعة : ٥٦)
- wabussati
- وَبُسَّتِ
- And will be crumbled
- l-jibālu
- ٱلْجِبَالُ
- the mountains
- bassan
- بَسًّا
- (with awful) crumbling
Transliteration:
Wa bussatil jibaalu bassaa(QS. al-Wāqiʿah:5)
English / Sahih Translation:
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling (QS. Al-Waqi'ah, ayah 5)

This was said by Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, Ikrimah and Qatadah and others.
Ibn Zayd said;
"The mountains will become just like Allah described them,
كَثِيباً مَّهِيلً
A heap of sand poured out. (73;14)"
Allah's saying;
فَكَانَتْ هَبَاء مُّنبَثًّا
