This was said by Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, Ikrimah and Qatadah and others.

Ibn Zayd said;

"The mountains will become just like Allah described them,
كَثِيباً مَّهِيلً
A heap of sand poured out. (73;14)"

Allah's saying;

فَكَانَتْ هَبَاء مُّنبَثًّا
