Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Waqi'ah Verse 15

Tafsir jalalayn

[will be] upon encrusted couches, [their linings] woven onto rods of gold and jewels,

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

on Thrones, Mawdunah.

Ibn Abbas said, "Woven with gold."

Similar was reported from Mujahid, Ikrimah, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Zayd bin Aslam, Qatadah, Ad-Dahhak and others.

Allah said,

مُتَّكِيِينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَابِلِينَ
