اَفَرَءَيْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِيْ تُوْرُوْنَۗ ٧١
- afara-aytumu
- أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ
- Do you see
- l-nāra
- ٱلنَّارَ
- the Fire
- allatī
- ٱلَّتِى
- which
- tūrūna
- تُورُونَ
- you ignite?
And have you seen the fire that you ignite? (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 71)Tafsir
72
ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَآ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِـُٔوْنَ ٧٢
- a-antum
- ءَأَنتُمْ
- Is it you
- anshatum
- أَنشَأْتُمْ
- who produced
- shajaratahā
- شَجَرَتَهَآ
- its tree
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- naḥnu
- نَحْنُ
- We
- l-munshiūna
- ٱلْمُنشِـُٔونَ
- (are) the Producers?
Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer? (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 72)Tafsir
73
نَحْنُ جَعَلْنٰهَا تَذْكِرَةً وَّمَتَاعًا لِّلْمُقْوِيْنَۚ ٧٣
- naḥnu
- نَحْنُ
- We
- jaʿalnāhā
- جَعَلْنَٰهَا
- have made it
- tadhkiratan
- تَذْكِرَةً
- a reminder
- wamatāʿan
- وَمَتَٰعًا
- and a provision
- lil'muq'wīna
- لِّلْمُقْوِينَ
- for the wayfarers in the desert
We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 73)Tafsir
74
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيْمِ ࣖ ٧٤
- fasabbiḥ
- فَسَبِّحْ
- So glorify
- bi-is'mi
- بِٱسْمِ
- (the) name
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- l-ʿaẓīmi
- ٱلْعَظِيمِ
- the Most Great
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 74)Tafsir
75
فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوْمِ ٧٥
- falā
- فَلَآ
- But nay
- uq'simu
- أُقْسِمُ
- I swear
- bimawāqiʿi
- بِمَوَٰقِعِ
- by setting
- l-nujūmi
- ٱلنُّجُومِ
- (of) the stars
Then I swear by the setting of the stars, (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 75)Tafsir
76
وَاِنَّهٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عَظِيْمٌۙ ٧٦
- wa-innahu
- وَإِنَّهُۥ
- And indeed it
- laqasamun
- لَقَسَمٌ
- (is) surely an oath
- law
- لَّوْ
- if
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- you know -
- ʿaẓīmun
- عَظِيمٌ
- great
And indeed, it is an oath – if you could know – [most] great. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 76)Tafsir
77
اِنَّهٗ لَقُرْاٰنٌ كَرِيْمٌۙ ٧٧
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed it
- laqur'ānun
- لَقُرْءَانٌ
- (is) surely a Quran
- karīmun
- كَرِيمٌ
- noble
Indeed, it is a noble Quran. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 77)Tafsir
78
فِيْ كِتٰبٍ مَّكْنُوْنٍۙ ٧٨
- fī
- فِى
- In
- kitābin
- كِتَٰبٍ
- a Book
- maknūnin
- مَّكْنُونٍ
- well-guarded
In a Register well-protected;. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 78)Tafsir
79
لَّا يَمَسُّهٗٓ اِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُوْنَۙ ٧٩
- lā
- لَّا
- None
- yamassuhu
- يَمَسُّهُۥٓ
- touch it
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- l-muṭaharūna
- ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ
- the purified
None touch it except the purified [i.e., the angels]. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 79)Tafsir
80
تَنْزِيْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨٠
- tanzīlun
- تَنزِيلٌ
- A Revelation
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbi
- رَّبِّ
- (the) Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 80)Tafsir
