وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُوْنَۗ ٢١
- walaḥmi
- وَلَحْمِ
- And (the) flesh
- ṭayrin
- طَيْرٍ
- (of) fowls
- mimmā
- مِّمَّا
- of what
- yashtahūna
- يَشْتَهُونَ
- they desire
And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 21)Tafsir

وَحُوْرٌ عِيْنٌۙ ٢٢
- waḥūrun
- وَحُورٌ
- And fair ones
- ʿīnun
- عِينٌ
- (with) large eyes
And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 22)Tafsir
23
كَاَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمَكْنُوْنِۚ ٢٣
- ka-amthāli
- كَأَمْثَٰلِ
- Like
- l-lu'lu-i
- ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ
- pearls
- l-maknūni
- ٱلْمَكْنُونِ
- well-protected
The likenesses of pearls well-protected, (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 23)Tafsir
24
جَزَاۤءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٢٤
- jazāan
- جَزَآءًۢ
- A reward
- bimā
- بِمَا
- for what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yaʿmalūna
- يَعْمَلُونَ
- do
As reward for what they used to do. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 24)Tafsir
25
لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّلَا تَأْثِيْمًاۙ ٢٥
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yasmaʿūna
- يَسْمَعُونَ
- they will hear
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- laghwan
- لَغْوًا
- vain talk
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- tathīman
- تَأْثِيمًا
- sinful (speech)
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin – (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 25)Tafsir
26
اِلَّا قِيْلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا ٢٦
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- qīlan
- قِيلًا
- a saying
- salāman
- سَلَٰمًا
- "Peace
- salāman
- سَلَٰمًا
- Peace"
Only a saying [of] peace, peace. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 26)Tafsir
27
وَاَصْحٰبُ الْيَمِينِ ەۙ مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الْيَمِيْنِۗ ٢٧
- wa-aṣḥābu
- وَأَصْحَٰبُ
- And (the) companions
- l-yamīni
- ٱلْيَمِينِ
- (of) the right
- mā
- مَآ
- what
- aṣḥābu
- أَصْحَٰبُ
- (are the) companions
- l-yamīni
- ٱلْيَمِينِ
- (of) the right?
The companions of the right – what are the companions of the right? (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 27)Tafsir

فِيْ سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُوْدٍۙ ٢٨
- fī
- فِى
- Among
- sid'rin
- سِدْرٍ
- lote trees
- makhḍūdin
- مَّخْضُودٍ
- thornless
[They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 28)Tafsir
29
وَّطَلْحٍ مَّنْضُوْدٍۙ ٢٩
- waṭalḥin
- وَطَلْحٍ
- And banana trees
- manḍūdin
- مَّنضُودٍ
- layered
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 29)Tafsir
30
وَّظِلٍّ مَّمْدُوْدٍۙ ٣٠
- waẓillin
- وَظِلٍّ
- And shade
- mamdūdin
- مَّمْدُودٍ
- extended
And shade extended. (QS. [56] Al-Waqi'ah: 30)Tafsir
