Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman Verse 13

So, (O mankind and Jinn,) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Then which of your Lord’s favours will you ˹humans and jinn˺ both deny?[[ This question is repeated thirty-one times in this sûrah: eight times after reminders of Allah’s favours, seven times in the passage talking about the punishment of the deniers of judgment (which is the number of the gates of Hell), and eight times in each of the two following passages talking about Paradise, which has eight gates. ]]

(tukadhdhibn is mentioned thirty one times; the interrogative is meant [to be understood] as an affirmative, judging by what al-Hkim [al-Naysbr] reported [by way of an isnd] from Jbir [b. `Abd Allh al-Ansr], who said, `The Messenger of God (s) was reciting surt al-Rahmn to us, and when he completed it, he said, "What is wrong with you that you have been silent [throughout]? Verily the jinn are more responsive than you. Not once did I recite this verse to them -- So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? -- but that they said, `Not one of your graces, our Lord, do we deny, for [all] praise belongs to You' ").

Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

meaning, "O mankind and Jinn, which of the favors that Allah has given to you do you deny"

Mujahid and others said this, and it is apparent when one reads what comes after it. Meaning the favors that are obvious to you while you are surrounded by them, you cannot deny or reject them. So we say, just as the believers among the Jinns said, "O Allah! None of Your favors do we deny. All praise is due to You."

Ibn Abbas used to say, "Nay, our Lord!" meaning, "None of Your favors do we deny.
