(The Beneficent)

51

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥١

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 51)
Tafsir
52

فِيْهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجٰنِۚ ٥٢

fīhimā
فِيهِمَا
In both of them
min
مِن
[of]
kulli
كُلِّ
(are) every
fākihatin
فَٰكِهَةٍ
fruits
zawjāni
زَوْجَانِ
(in) pairs
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 52)
Tafsir
53

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٥٣

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 53)

54

مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى فُرُشٍۢ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقٍۗ وَجَنَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍۚ ٥٤

muttakiīna
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ
Reclining
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
on
furushin
فُرُشٍۭ
couches
baṭāinuhā
بَطَآئِنُهَا
(whose) inner linings
min
مِنْ
(are) of
is'tabraqin
إِسْتَبْرَقٍۚ
brocade
wajanā
وَجَنَى
and (the) fruit
l-janatayni
ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ
(of) both the gardens
dānin
دَانٍ
(is) near
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 54)
Tafsir
55

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥٥

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 55)
Tafsir
56

فِيْهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرْفِۙ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ ٥٦

fīhinna
فِيهِنَّ
In them
qāṣirātu
قَٰصِرَٰتُ
(will be) companions of modest gaze
l-ṭarfi
ٱلطَّرْفِ
(will be) companions of modest gaze
lam
لَمْ
not
yaṭmith'hunna
يَطْمِثْهُنَّ
has touched them
insun
إِنسٌ
any man
qablahum
قَبْلَهُمْ
before them
walā
وَلَا
and not
jānnun
جَآنٌّ
any jinn
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 56)
Tafsir
57

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٥٧

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 57)
Tafsir
58

كَاَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوْتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُۚ ٥٨

ka-annahunna
كَأَنَّهُنَّ
As if they were
l-yāqūtu
ٱلْيَاقُوتُ
rubies
wal-marjānu
وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
and coral
As if they were rubies and coral. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 58)
Tafsir
59

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥٩

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 59)

60

هَلْ جَزَاۤءُ الْاِحْسَانِ اِلَّا الْاِحْسَانُۚ ٦٠

hal
هَلْ
Is
jazāu
جَزَآءُ
(the) reward
l-iḥ'sāni
ٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ
for the good
illā
إِلَّا
but
l-iḥ'sānu
ٱلْإِحْسَٰنُ
good?
Is the reward for good [anything] but good? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 60)
