سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ اَيُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ ٣١
- sanafrughu
- سَنَفْرُغُ
- Soon We will attend
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- ayyuha
- أَيُّهَ
- O you
- l-thaqalāni
- ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
- two classes!
We will attend to you, O prominent beings. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 31)Tafsir
32
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٢
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 32)Tafsir
33
يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاۗ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ ٣٣
- yāmaʿshara
- يَٰمَعْشَرَ
- O assembly
- l-jini
- ٱلْجِنِّ
- (of) the jinn
- wal-insi
- وَٱلْإِنسِ
- and the men!
- ini
- إِنِ
- If
- is'taṭaʿtum
- ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ
- you are able
- an
- أَن
- to
- tanfudhū
- تَنفُذُوا۟
- pass beyond
- min
- مِنْ
- [of]
- aqṭāri
- أَقْطَارِ
- (the) regions
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- fa-unfudhū
- فَٱنفُذُوا۟ۚ
- then pass
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- tanfudhūna
- تَنفُذُونَ
- you (can) pass
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- bisul'ṭānin
- بِسُلْطَٰنٍ
- by authority
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 33)Tafsir
34
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٤
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 34)Tafsir
35
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍۙ وَّنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِۚ ٣٥
- yur'salu
- يُرْسَلُ
- Will be sent
- ʿalaykumā
- عَلَيْكُمَا
- against both of you
- shuwāẓun
- شُوَاظٌ
- a flame
- min
- مِّن
- of
- nārin
- نَّارٍ
- fire
- wanuḥāsun
- وَنُحَاسٌ
- and smoke
- falā
- فَلَا
- and not
- tantaṣirāni
- تَنتَصِرَانِ
- you will (be able to) defend yourselves
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 35)Tafsir
36
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٦
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 36)Tafsir
37
فَاِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ ٣٧
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- Then when
- inshaqqati
- ٱنشَقَّتِ
- is split
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the heaven
- fakānat
- فَكَانَتْ
- and it becomes
- wardatan
- وَرْدَةً
- rose-colored
- kal-dihāni
- كَٱلدِّهَانِ
- like murky oil
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil – (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 37)Tafsir
38
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٨
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? – (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 38)Tafsir
39
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖٓ اِنْسٌ وَّلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ ٣٩
- fayawma-idhin
- فَيَوْمَئِذٍ
- Then on that Day
- lā
- لَّا
- not
- yus'alu
- يُسْـَٔلُ
- will be asked
- ʿan
- عَن
- about
- dhanbihi
- ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ
- his sin
- insun
- إِنسٌ
- any man
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- jānnun
- جَآنٌّ
- any jinn
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 39)Tafsir
40
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٤٠
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 40)Tafsir
