فِيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْاَكْمَامِۖ ١١
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- Therein
- fākihatun
- فَٰكِهَةٌ
- (is) fruit
- wal-nakhlu
- وَٱلنَّخْلُ
- and date-palms
- dhātu
- ذَاتُ
- having
- l-akmāmi
- ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
- sheaths
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 11)Tafsir
12
وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُۚ ١٢
- wal-ḥabu
- وَٱلْحَبُّ
- And the grain
- dhū
- ذُو
- having
- l-ʿaṣfi
- ٱلْعَصْفِ
- husk
- wal-rayḥānu
- وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
- and scented plants
And grain having husks and scented plants. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 12)Tafsir
13
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٣
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 13)Tafsir
14
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ ١٤
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- He created
- l-insāna
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
- the man
- min
- مِن
- from
- ṣalṣālin
- صَلْصَٰلٍ
- clay
- kal-fakhāri
- كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
- like the pottery
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 14)Tafsir
15
وَخَلَقَ الْجَاۤنَّ مِنْ مَّارِجٍ مِّنْ نَّارٍۚ ١٥
- wakhalaqa
- وَخَلَقَ
- And He created
- l-jāna
- ٱلْجَآنَّ
- the jinn
- min
- مِن
- from
- mārijin
- مَّارِجٍ
- a smokeless flame
- min
- مِّن
- of
- nārin
- نَّارٍ
- fire
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 15)Tafsir
16
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٦
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 16)Tafsir
17
رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِۚ ١٧
- rabbu
- رَبُّ
- Lord
- l-mashriqayni
- ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ
- (of) the two Easts
- warabbu
- وَرَبُّ
- and Lord
- l-maghribayni
- ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
- (of) the two Wests
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 17)Tafsir
18
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٨
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- So which
- ālāi
- ءَالَآءِ
- (of the) favors
- rabbikumā
- رَبِّكُمَا
- (of) your Lord
- tukadhibāni
- تُكَذِّبَانِ
- will you both deny?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 18)Tafsir
19
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيٰنِۙ ١٩
- maraja
- مَرَجَ
- He released
- l-baḥrayni
- ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
- the two seas
- yaltaqiyāni
- يَلْتَقِيَانِ
- meeting
He released the two seas, meeting [one another]; (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 19)Tafsir
20
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيٰنِۚ ٢٠
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَا
- Between both of them
- barzakhun
- بَرْزَخٌ
- (is) a barrier
- lā
- لَّا
- not
- yabghiyāni
- يَبْغِيَانِ
- they transgress
Between them is a barrier so neither of them transgresses. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 20)Tafsir
