اَلرَّحْمٰنُۙ ١
- al-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- The Most Gracious
The Most Merciful (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 1)Tafsir

عَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَۗ ٢
- ʿallama
- عَلَّمَ
- He taught
- l-qur'āna
- ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
- the Quran
Taught the Quran, (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 2)Tafsir
3
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَۙ ٣
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- He created
- l-insāna
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
- [the] man
Created man, (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 3)Tafsir
4
عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ ٤
- ʿallamahu
- عَلَّمَهُ
- He taught him
- l-bayāna
- ٱلْبَيَانَ
- [the] speech
[And] taught him eloquence. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 4)Tafsir
5
اَلشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۙ ٥
- al-shamsu
- ٱلشَّمْسُ
- The sun
- wal-qamaru
- وَٱلْقَمَرُ
- and the moon
- biḥus'bānin
- بِحُسْبَانٍ
- by (precise) calculation
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 5)Tafsir
6
وَّالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ ٦
- wal-najmu
- وَٱلنَّجْمُ
- And the stars
- wal-shajaru
- وَٱلشَّجَرُ
- and the trees
- yasjudāni
- يَسْجُدَانِ
- both prostrate
And the stars and trees prostrate. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 6)Tafsir
7
وَالسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيْزَانَۙ ٧
- wal-samāa
- وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
- And the heaven
- rafaʿahā
- رَفَعَهَا
- He raised it
- wawaḍaʿa
- وَوَضَعَ
- and He has set up
- l-mīzāna
- ٱلْمِيزَانَ
- the balance
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 7)Tafsir
8
اَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِى الْمِيْزَانِ ٨
- allā
- أَلَّا
- That not
- taṭghaw
- تَطْغَوْا۟
- you may transgress
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-mīzāni
- ٱلْمِيزَانِ
- the balance
That you not transgress within the balance. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 8)Tafsir
9
وَاَقِيْمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيْزَانَ ٩
- wa-aqīmū
- وَأَقِيمُوا۟
- And establish
- l-wazna
- ٱلْوَزْنَ
- the weight
- bil-qis'ṭi
- بِٱلْقِسْطِ
- in justice
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- tukh'sirū
- تُخْسِرُوا۟
- make deficient
- l-mīzāna
- ٱلْمِيزَانَ
- the balance
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 9)Tafsir
10
وَالْاَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْاَنَامِۙ ١٠
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- And the earth
- waḍaʿahā
- وَضَعَهَا
- He laid it
- lil'anāmi
- لِلْأَنَامِ
- for the creatures
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. (QS. [55] Ar-Rahman: 10)Tafsir
