Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Qamar Verse 54
Al-Qamar [54]: 54 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّنَهَرٍۙ (القمر : ٥٤)
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-mutaqīna
- ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
- the righteous
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- gardens
- wanaharin
- وَنَهَرٍ
- and river
Transliteration:
Innal muttaqeena fee jannaatinw wa nahar(QS. al-Q̈amar:54)
English / Sahih Translation:
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, (QS. Al-Qamar, ayah 54)

Tafsir jalalayn
Assuredly the God-fearing will be amid gardens, orchards, and rivers (the collective noun is meant here; a variant reading [for nahar] has the plural nuhur, similar [in form] to asad, `lion', [plural] usud), the meaning being that they will drink from its rivers water milk, honey and wine;
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
Verily, those who have Taqwa, will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers,
unlike the end that the miserable are facing, loss, confusion and being dragged in the Fire on their faces, as well as being disgraced, punished and threatened.
