Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Qamar Verse 10
Al-Qamar [54]: 10 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنِّيْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ (القمر : ٥٤)
- fadaʿā
- فَدَعَا

- his Lord

- أَنِّى
- "I am
- maghlūbun
- مَغْلُوبٌ
- one overpowered
- fa-intaṣir
- فَٱنتَصِرْ
- so help"
Transliteration:
Fada'aa Rabbahooo annee maghloobun fantasir(QS. al-Q̈amar:10)
English / Sahih Translation:
So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help." (QS. Al-Qamar, ayah 10)

Then he invoked his Lord (saying);
"I have been overcome, so help (me)!"
meaning, `I am weak and cannot overcome or resist my people, so help Your religion!'
Allah the Exalted said,
فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاء بِمَاء مُّنْهَمِرٍ
