Al-Qur'an Surah An-Najm Verse 21
An-Najm [53]: 21 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْاُنْثٰى (النجم : ٥٣)
- alakumu
- أَلَكُمُ
- Is for you
- l-dhakaru
- ٱلذَّكَرُ
- the male
- walahu
- وَلَهُ
- and for Him
- l-unthā
- ٱلْأُنثَىٰ
- the female?
Transliteration:
A-lakumuz zakaru wa lahul unsaa(QS. an-Najm:21)
English / Sahih Translation:
Is the male for you and for Him the female? (QS. An-Najm, ayah 21)

Is it for you the males and for Him the females?
Allah asked the idolators, `do you choose female offspring for Allah and give preference to yourselves with the males If you made this division between yourselves and the created, it would be,
تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَى
