Al-Qur'an Surah At-Tur Verse 13
At-Tur [52]: 13 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّوْنَ اِلٰى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّاۗ (الطور : ٥٢)

Transliteration:
Yawma yuda'-'oona ilaa naari jahannama da'-'aa(QS. aṭ-Ṭūr:13)
English / Sahih Translation:
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say], (QS. At-Tur, ayah 13)

Tafsir jalalayn
the day when they will be thrust with a violent thrust into Hell, [when] they will be pushed violently (this [last clause, yawma yuda``na il nri jahannama da``an] is a substitution for yawma tamru, `the day when [the heaven] will heave') and it will be said to them in reproach;
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ
The Day when they will be pushed down by force,
meaning, they will be violently driven and shoved,
إِلَى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
to the fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing.
Mujahid, Ash-Sha`bi, Muhammad bin Ka`b, Ad-Dahhak, As-Suddi and Ath-Thawri said that this Ayah means,
"They will be violently shoved into the Fire."
Allah said,
هَذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
