41
اَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُوْنَۗ ٤١
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- ʿindahumu
- عِندَهُمُ
- with them
- l-ghaybu
- ٱلْغَيْبُ
- (is) the unseen
- fahum
- فَهُمْ
- so they
- yaktubūna
- يَكْتُبُونَ
- write (it) down?
Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? (QS. [52] At-Tur: 41)Tafsir
42
اَمْ يُرِيْدُوْنَ كَيْدًاۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا هُمُ الْمَكِيْدُوْنَۗ ٤٢
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- yurīdūna
- يُرِيدُونَ
- (do) they intend
- kaydan
- كَيْدًاۖ
- a plot?
- fa-alladhīna
- فَٱلَّذِينَ
- But those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- humu
- هُمُ
- themselves
- l-makīdūna
- ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ
- (are in) the plot
Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve – they are the object of a plan. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 42)Tafsir
43
اَمْ لَهُمْ اِلٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ ۗسُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ٤٣
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ilāhun
- إِلَٰهٌ
- a god
- ghayru
- غَيْرُ
- other than
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ
- Allah?
- sub'ḥāna
- سُبْحَٰنَ
- Glory be
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (to) Allah
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- from what
- yush'rikūna
- يُشْرِكُونَ
- they associate (with Him)
Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 43)Tafsir
44
وَاِنْ يَّرَوْا كِسْفًا مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ سَاقِطًا يَّقُوْلُوْا سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُوْمٌ ٤٤
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- yaraw
- يَرَوْا۟
- they were to see
- kis'fan
- كِسْفًا
- a portion
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- sāqiṭan
- سَاقِطًا
- falling
- yaqūlū
- يَقُولُوا۟
- they will say
- saḥābun
- سَحَابٌ
- "Clouds
- markūmun
- مَّرْكُومٌ
- heaped up"
And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." (QS. [52] At-Tur: 44)Tafsir
45
فَذَرْهُمْ حَتّٰى يُلٰقُوْا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِيْ فِيْهِ يُصْعَقُوْنَۙ ٤٥
- fadharhum
- فَذَرْهُمْ
- So leave them
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- yulāqū
- يُلَٰقُوا۟
- they meet
- yawmahumu
- يَوْمَهُمُ
- their Day
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- in it
- yuṣ'ʿaqūna
- يُصْعَقُونَ
- they will faint
So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible – (QS. [52] At-Tur: 45)Tafsir
46
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِيْ عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَۗ ٤٦
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yugh'nī
- يُغْنِى
- will avail
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُمْ
- to them
- kayduhum
- كَيْدُهُمْ
- their plotting
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- (in) anything
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- yunṣarūna
- يُنصَرُونَ
- will be helped
The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 46)Tafsir
47
وَاِنَّ لِلَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا عَذَابًا دُوْنَ ذٰلِكَ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٤٧
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- lilladhīna
- لِلَّذِينَ
- for those who
- ẓalamū
- ظَلَمُوا۟
- do wrong
- ʿadhāban
- عَذَابًا
- (is) a punishment
- dūna
- دُونَ
- before
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- walākinna
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- aktharahum
- أَكْثَرَهُمْ
- most of them
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 47)Tafsir
48
وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَاِنَّكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُۙ ٤٨
- wa-iṣ'bir
- وَٱصْبِرْ
- So be patient
- liḥuk'mi
- لِحُكْمِ
- for (the) Command
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- fa-innaka
- فَإِنَّكَ
- for indeed you
- bi-aʿyuninā
- بِأَعْيُنِنَاۖ
- (are) in Our Eyes
- wasabbiḥ
- وَسَبِّحْ
- And glorify
- biḥamdi
- بِحَمْدِ
- (the) praise
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- ḥīna
- حِينَ
- when
- taqūmu
- تَقُومُ
- you arise
And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes [i.e., sight]. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise (QS. [52] At-Tur: 48)Tafsir
49
وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَاِدْبَارَ النُّجُوْمِ ࣖ ٤٩
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And of
- al-layli
- ٱلَّيْلِ
- the night
- fasabbiḥ'hu
- فَسَبِّحْهُ
- glorify Him
- wa-id'bāra
- وَإِدْبَٰرَ
- and after
- l-nujūmi
- ٱلنُّجُومِ
- the stars
And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. (QS. [52] At-Tur: 49)Tafsir
