Al-Qur'an Surah Adh-Dhariyat Verse 54

Adh-Dhariyat [51]: 54 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ اَنْتَ بِمَلُوْمٍ (الذاريات : ٥١)

(are) to be blamed

Transliteration:

Fatawalla 'anhum famaaa anta bimaloom (QS. aḏ-Ḏāriyāt:54)

English / Sahih Translation:

So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. (QS. Adh-Dhariyat, ayah 54)

So, turn away from them, for you are not blamed.

Tafsir jalalayn

So shun them, for you will not be reproached, because you have conveyed the Message to them.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ

So turn away from them,

meaning, `O Muhammad, turn away from the Quraysh idolators,'

فَمَا أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ



you are not blameworthy.

meaning, `We blame you not if you turn away from them,'

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُوْمِنِينَ
