Al-Qur'an Surah Adh-Dhariyat Verse 2

Adh-Dhariyat [51]: 2 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَالْحٰمِلٰتِ وِقْرًاۙ (الذاريات : ٥١)

fal-ḥāmilāti
فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ
And those carrying
wiq'ran
وِقْرًا
a load

Transliteration:

Falhaamilaati wiqraa (QS. aḏ-Ḏāriyāt:2)

English / Sahih Translation:

And the [clouds] carrying a load [of water] (QS. Adh-Dhariyat, ayah 2)

then those that bear load (of clouds),

and ˹the clouds˺ loaded with rain,

Tafsir jalalayn

and those that bear, the clouds that bear moisture [as], a burden (wiqran is the direct object of al-hmilat, `those that bear');

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

And the laden Hamilat,"

Ali said, "The clouds."

The man again asked,

فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا
