21
وَفِيْٓ اَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ اَفَلَا تُبْصِرُوْنَ ٢١
- wafī
- وَفِىٓ
- And in
- anfusikum
- أَنفُسِكُمْۚ
- yourselves
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then will not
- tub'ṣirūna
- تُبْصِرُونَ
- you see?
And in yourselves. Then will you not see? (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 21)Tafsir
22
وَفِى السَّمَاۤءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ ٢٢
- wafī
- وَفِى
- And in
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the heaven
- riz'qukum
- رِزْقُكُمْ
- (is) your provision
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- tūʿadūna
- تُوعَدُونَ
- you are promised
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 22)Tafsir
23
فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاۤءِ وَالْاَرْضِ اِنَّهٗ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ اَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُوْنَ ࣖ ٢٣
- fawarabbi
- فَوَرَبِّ
- Then by (the) Lord
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- (of) the heaven
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- indeed it
- laḥaqqun
- لَحَقٌّ
- (is) surely (the) truth
- mith'la
- مِّثْلَ
- (just) as
- mā
- مَآ
- [what]
- annakum
- أَنَّكُمْ
- you
- tanṭiqūna
- تَنطِقُونَ
- speak
Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth – just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 23)Tafsir
24
هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِيْثُ ضَيْفِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ الْمُكْرَمِيْنَۘ ٢٤
- hal
- هَلْ
- Has
- atāka
- أَتَىٰكَ
- reached you
- ḥadīthu
- حَدِيثُ
- (the) narration
- ḍayfi
- ضَيْفِ
- (of the) guests
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- (of) Ibrahim
- l-muk'ramīna
- ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
- the honored?
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? – (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 24)Tafsir
25
اِذْ دَخَلُوْا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوْا سَلٰمًا ۗقَالَ سَلٰمٌۚ قَوْمٌ مُّنْكَرُوْنَ ٢٥
- idh
- إِذْ
- When
- dakhalū
- دَخَلُوا۟
- they entered
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- upon him
- faqālū
- فَقَالُوا۟
- and said
- salāman
- سَلَٰمًاۖ
- "Peace"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- salāmun
- سَلَٰمٌ
- "Peace
- qawmun
- قَوْمٌ
- a people
- munkarūna
- مُّنكَرُونَ
- unknown"
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace; [you are] a people unknown." (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 25)Tafsir
26
فَرَاغَ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ فَجَاۤءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِيْنٍۙ ٢٦
- farāgha
- فَرَاغَ
- Then he went
- ilā
- إِلَىٰٓ
- to
- ahlihi
- أَهْلِهِۦ
- his household
- fajāa
- فَجَآءَ
- and came
- biʿij'lin
- بِعِجْلٍ
- with a calf
- samīnin
- سَمِينٍ
- fat
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 26)Tafsir
27
فَقَرَّبَهٗٓ اِلَيْهِمْۚ قَالَ اَلَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ٢٧
- faqarrabahu
- فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ
- And he placed it near
- ilayhim
- إِلَيْهِمْ
- [to] them
- qāla
- قَالَ
- he said
- alā
- أَلَا
- "Will not
- takulūna
- تَأْكُلُونَ
- you eat?"
And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?" (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 27)Tafsir
28
فَاَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيْفَةً ۗقَالُوْا لَا تَخَفْۗ وَبَشَّرُوْهُ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِيْمٍ ٢٨
- fa-awjasa
- فَأَوْجَسَ
- Then he felt
- min'hum
- مِنْهُمْ
- from them
- khīfatan
- خِيفَةًۖ
- a fear
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They said
- lā
- لَا
- "(Do) not
- takhaf
- تَخَفْۖ
- fear"
- wabasharūhu
- وَبَشَّرُوهُ
- and they gave him glad tidings
- bighulāmin
- بِغُلَٰمٍ
- of a son
- ʿalīmin
- عَلِيمٍ
- learned
And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 28)Tafsir
29
فَاَقْبَلَتِ امْرَاَتُهٗ فِيْ صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوْزٌ عَقِيْمٌ ٢٩
- fa-aqbalati
- فَأَقْبَلَتِ
- Then came forward
- im'ra-atuhu
- ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
- his wife
- fī
- فِى
- with
- ṣarratin
- صَرَّةٍ
- a loud voice
- faṣakkat
- فَصَكَّتْ
- and struck
- wajhahā
- وَجْهَهَا
- her face
- waqālat
- وَقَالَتْ
- and she said
- ʿajūzun
- عَجُوزٌ
- "An old woman
- ʿaqīmun
- عَقِيمٌ
- barren!"
And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!" (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 29)Tafsir
30
قَالُوْا كَذٰلِكِۙ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْحَكِيْمُ الْعَلِيْمُ ۔ ٣٠
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They said
- kadhāliki
- كَذَٰلِكِ
- "Thus
- qāla
- قَالَ
- said
- rabbuki
- رَبُّكِۖ
- your Lord
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- [He]
- l-ḥakīmu
- ٱلْحَكِيمُ
- (is) the All-Wise
- l-ʿalīmu
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knower"
They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 30)Tafsir
