الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِيْ غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُوْنَۙ ١١
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- hum
- هُمْ
- [they]
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- ghamratin
- غَمْرَةٍ
- flood
- sāhūna
- سَاهُونَ
- (of) heedlessness
Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 11)Tafsir
12
يَسْـَٔلُوْنَ اَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِۗ ١٢
- yasalūna
- يَسْـَٔلُونَ
- They ask
- ayyāna
- أَيَّانَ
- "When
- yawmu
- يَوْمُ
- (is the) Day
- l-dīni
- ٱلدِّينِ
- (of) Judgment?"
They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 12)Tafsir
13
يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُوْنَ ١٣
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- A Day
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- over
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِ
- the Fire
- yuf'tanūna
- يُفْتَنُونَ
- will be tried
[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 13)Tafsir
14
ذُوْقُوْا فِتْنَتَكُمْۗ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ ١٤
- dhūqū
- ذُوقُوا۟
- "Taste
- fit'natakum
- فِتْنَتَكُمْ
- your trial
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- This
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) what
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you were
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- for it
- tastaʿjilūna
- تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
- seeking to hasten"
[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 14)Tafsir
15
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍۙ ١٥
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-mutaqīna
- ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
- the righteous
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- Gardens
- waʿuyūnin
- وَعُيُونٍ
- and springs
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 15)Tafsir
16
اٰخِذِيْنَ مَآ اٰتٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِيْنَۗ ١٦
- ākhidhīna
- ءَاخِذِينَ
- Taking
- mā
- مَآ
- what
- ātāhum
- ءَاتَىٰهُمْ
- their Lord has given them
- rabbuhum
- رَبُّهُمْۚ
- their Lord has given them
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed, they
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- were
- qabla
- قَبْلَ
- before
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- muḥ'sinīna
- مُحْسِنِينَ
- good-doers
Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 16)Tafsir
17
كَانُوْا قَلِيْلًا مِّنَ الَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُوْنَ ١٧
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- They used (to)
- qalīlan
- قَلِيلًا
- little
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- al-layli
- ٱلَّيْلِ
- the night
- mā
- مَا
- [what]
- yahjaʿūna
- يَهْجَعُونَ
- sleep
They used to sleep but little of the night, (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 17)Tafsir
18
وَبِالْاَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ ١٨
- wabil-asḥāri
- وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ
- And in the hours before dawn
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- yastaghfirūna
- يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
- would ask forgiveness
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 18)Tafsir
19
وَفِيْٓ اَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّاۤىِٕلِ وَالْمَحْرُوْمِ ١٩
- wafī
- وَفِىٓ
- And in
- amwālihim
- أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
- their wealth
- ḥaqqun
- حَقٌّ
- (was the) right
- lilssāili
- لِّلسَّآئِلِ
- (of) those who asked
- wal-maḥrūmi
- وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
- and the deprived
And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 19)Tafsir
20
وَفِى الْاَرْضِ اٰيٰتٌ لِّلْمُوْقِنِيْنَۙ ٢٠
- wafī
- وَفِى
- And in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- āyātun
- ءَايَٰتٌ
- (are) signs
- lil'mūqinīna
- لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
- for those who are certain
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] (QS. [51] Adh-Dhariyat: 20)Tafsir
