Al-Qur'an Surah Qaf Verse 31

Qaf [50]: 31 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ غَيْرَ بَعِيْدٍ (ق : ٥٠)

wa-uz'lifati
وَأُزْلِفَتِ
And will be brought near
l-janatu
ٱلْجَنَّةُ
the Paradise
lil'muttaqīna
لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
to the righteous
ghayra
غَيْرَ
not
baʿīdin
بَعِيدٍ
far

Transliteration:

Wa uzlifatil jannatu lil muttaqeena ghaira ba'eed (QS. Q̈āf:31)

English / Sahih Translation:

And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far, (QS. Qaf, ayah 31)

And Paradise will be Uzlifat to those who had Taqwa, not far off.

meaning, Paradise will be brought close and near to the pious, according to Qatadah, Abu Malik and As-Suddi,

غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
(not far off), and this will occur on the Day of Resurrection, which is not far off. Surely that Day will come to pass and all that is bound to come, is near
