Al-Qur'an Surah Qaf Verse 29

Qaf [50]: 29 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ وَمَآ اَنَا۠ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِ ࣖ (ق : ٥٠)

to My slaves"

Transliteration:

Maa yubaddalul qawlu ladaiya wa maaa ana bizal laamil lil'abeed (QS. Q̈āf:29)

English / Sahih Translation:

The word [i.e., decree] will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." (QS. Qaf, ayah 29)

Mufti Taqi Usmani

The Word is not changed with Me, and I Am not so unjust to My servants.”

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ

The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed,

"I have made My decision," according to the explanation of Mujahid,

وَمَا أَنَا بِظَلَّمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ



And I am not unjust to the servants.

`I will not punish anyone, except on account of their sins after the proof has been established against them.
