Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 18

Al-Hujurat [49]: 18 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ بَصِيْرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ (الحجرات : ٤٩)

inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
yaʿlamu
يَعْلَمُ
knows
ghayba
غَيْبَ
(the) unseen
l-samāwāti
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
and the earth
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
baṣīrun
بَصِيرٌۢ
(is) All-Seer
bimā
بِمَا
of what
taʿmalūna
تَعْمَلُونَ
you do"

Transliteration:

Innal laaha ya'lamu ghaibas samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu baseerum bimaa ta'maloon (QS. al-Ḥujurāt:18)

English / Sahih Translation:

Indeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do. (QS. Al-Hujurat, ayah 18)

Surely Allah knows the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, and Allah keeps in sight whatever you do.”

Tafsir jalalayn

Truly God knows the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, that is, [He knows] all that is hidden in both, and God is Seer of what you do' (may be read either as ya`malna, `they do', or ta`malna, `you do'), nothing of which can be concealed from Him. Meccan, except for verse 38, which is Medinese; it consists of 45 verses.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

Verily, Allah knows the Unseen of the heavens and the earth.

And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.

This is the end of the Tafsir of Surah Al-Hujurat. Verily, all praise is due to Allah, all the favors are from Him, and from Him comes the success and protection from error
