Surah (Al-Fath)

Al-Fath [48]: 13 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَمَنْ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ فَاِنَّآ اَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ سَعِيْرًا (الفتح : ٤٨)

waman
وَمَن: And whoever

lam
لَّمْ: (has) not believed

yu'min
يُؤْمِنۢ: (has) not believed

bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ: in Allah

warasūlihi
وَرَسُولِهِۦ: and His Messenger

fa-innā
فَإِنَّآ: then indeed, We

aʿtadnā
أَعْتَدْنَا: [We] have prepared

lil'kāfirīna
لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ: for the disbelievers

saʿīran
سَعِيرًا: a Blazing Fire

Transliteration:

Wa mal lam yu'mim billaahi wa Rasoolihee fainnaaa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena sa'eeraa (QS. al-Fatḥ:13)

English / Sahih Translation:

And whoever has not believed in Allah and His Messenger – then indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers a Blaze. (QS. Al-Fath, ayah 13)

If one does not believe in Allah and His Messenger, then We have prepared a blazing fire for the disbelievers.

Tafsir jalalayn

And whoever does not believe in God and His Messenger, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blaze, a severe fire.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَمَن لَّمْ يُوْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

And whosoever does not believe in Allah and His Messenger,

Allah states here that whoever does not purify his actions outwardly and inwardly for Allah's sake,

فَإِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَعِيرًا

then verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blazing Fire.

then Allah the Exalted will punish him in the Blazing Fire, even if he pretends to show people that he follows the faith, contradicting his true creed.

Allah said
