اِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِيْنًاۙ ١
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed
- fataḥnā
- فَتَحْنَا
- We have given victory
- laka
- لَكَ
- to you
- fatḥan
- فَتْحًا
- a victory
- mubīnan
- مُّبِينًا
- clear
Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 1)Tafsir
لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللّٰهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْۢبِكَ وَمَا تَاَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهٗ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيْمًاۙ ٢
- liyaghfira
- لِّيَغْفِرَ
- That may forgive
- laka
- لَكَ
- for you
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- mā
- مَا
- what
- taqaddama
- تَقَدَّمَ
- preceded
- min
- مِن
- of
- dhanbika
- ذَنۢبِكَ
- your fault
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- ta-akhara
- تَأَخَّرَ
- will follow
- wayutimma
- وَيُتِمَّ
- and complete
- niʿ'matahu
- نِعْمَتَهُۥ
- His favor
- ʿalayka
- عَلَيْكَ
- upon you
- wayahdiyaka
- وَيَهْدِيَكَ
- and guide you
- ṣirāṭan
- صِرَٰطًا
- (to) a Path
- mus'taqīman
- مُّسْتَقِيمًا
- Straight
That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin [i.e., errors] and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 2)Tafsir
وَّيَنْصُرَكَ اللّٰهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيْزًا ٣
- wayanṣuraka
- وَيَنصُرَكَ
- And Allah may help you
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- And Allah may help you
- naṣran
- نَصْرًا
- (with) a help
- ʿazīzan
- عَزِيزًا
- mighty
And [that] Allah may aid you with a mighty victory. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 3)Tafsir
هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْزَلَ السَّكِيْنَةَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ لِيَزْدَادُوْٓا اِيْمَانًا مَّعَ اِيْمَانِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًاۙ ٤
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- (is) the One Who
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- sent down
- l-sakīnata
- ٱلسَّكِينَةَ
- [the] tranquility
- fī
- فِى
- in(to)
- qulūbi
- قُلُوبِ
- (the) hearts
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- (of) the believers
- liyazdādū
- لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟
- that they may increase
- īmānan
- إِيمَٰنًا
- (in) faith
- maʿa
- مَّعَ
- with
- īmānihim
- إِيمَٰنِهِمْۗ
- their faith
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- junūdu
- جُنُودُ
- (are the) hosts
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- and Allah
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- and Allah
- ʿalīman
- عَلِيمًا
- (is) All-Knower
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
It is He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allah Knowing and Wise. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 4)Tafsir
لِّيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْۗ وَكَانَ ذٰلِكَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيْمًاۙ ٥
- liyud'khila
- لِّيُدْخِلَ
- That He may admit
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- the believing men
- wal-mu'mināti
- وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ
- and the believing women
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- (to) Gardens
- tajrī
- تَجْرِى
- flow
- min
- مِن
- from
- taḥtihā
- تَحْتِهَا
- underneath them
- l-anhāru
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
- the rivers
- khālidīna
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- (to) abide forever
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- wayukaffira
- وَيُكَفِّرَ
- and (to) remove
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُمْ
- from them
- sayyiātihim
- سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْۚ
- their misdeeds
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- and is
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- with
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- fawzan
- فَوْزًا
- a success
- ʿaẓīman
- عَظِيمًا
- great
[And] that He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds – and ever is that, in the sight of Allah, a great attainment (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 5)Tafsir
وَّيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَالْمُشْرِكٰتِ الظَّاۤنِّيْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِۗ عَلَيْهِمْ دَاۤىِٕرَةُ السَّوْءِۚ وَغَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَاَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَۗ وَسَاۤءَتْ مَصِيْرًا ٦
- wayuʿadhiba
- وَيُعَذِّبَ
- And He (may) punish
- l-munāfiqīna
- ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
- the hypocrite men
- wal-munāfiqāti
- وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ
- and the hypocrite women
- wal-mush'rikīna
- وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
- and the polytheist men
- wal-mush'rikāti
- وَٱلْمُشْرِكَٰتِ
- and the polytheist women
- l-ẓānīna
- ٱلظَّآنِّينَ
- who assume
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- about Allah
- ẓanna
- ظَنَّ
- an assumption
- l-sawi
- ٱلسَّوْءِۚ
- evil
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- Upon them
- dāiratu
- دَآئِرَةُ
- (is) a turn
- l-sawi
- ٱلسَّوْءِۖ
- (of) evil
- waghaḍiba
- وَغَضِبَ
- and Allah's wrath (is)
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- and Allah's wrath (is)
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- upon them
- walaʿanahum
- وَلَعَنَهُمْ
- and He has cursed them
- wa-aʿadda
- وَأَعَدَّ
- and prepared
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَۖ
- Hell
- wasāat
- وَسَآءَتْ
- and evil
- maṣīran
- مَصِيرًا
- (is the) destination
And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women – those who assume about Allah an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 6)Tafsir
وَلِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِيْزًا حَكِيْمًا ٧
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And for Allah
- junūdu
- جُنُودُ
- (are the) hosts
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- and Allah
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- and Allah
- ʿazīzan
- عَزِيزًا
- (is) All-Mighty
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 7)Tafsir
اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ شَاهِدًا وَّمُبَشِّرًا وَّنَذِيْرًاۙ ٨
- innā
- إِنَّآ
- Indeed We
- arsalnāka
- أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ
- [We] have sent you
- shāhidan
- شَٰهِدًا
- (as) a witness
- wamubashiran
- وَمُبَشِّرًا
- and (as) a bearer of glad tidings
- wanadhīran
- وَنَذِيرًا
- and (as) a warner
Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 8)Tafsir
لِّتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَتُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوْهُۗ وَتُسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّاَصِيْلًا ٩
- litu'minū
- لِّتُؤْمِنُوا۟
- That you may believe
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- warasūlihi
- وَرَسُولِهِۦ
- and His Messenger
- watuʿazzirūhu
- وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ
- and (may) honor him
- watuwaqqirūhu
- وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ
- and respect him
- watusabbiḥūhu
- وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ
- and glorify Him
- buk'ratan
- بُكْرَةً
- morning
- wa-aṣīlan
- وَأَصِيلًا
- and evening
That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect him [i.e., the Prophet (^)] and exalt Him [i.e., Allah] morning and afternoon. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 9)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُبَايِعُوْنَكَ اِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ ۗيَدُ اللّٰهِ فَوْقَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ ۚ فَمَنْ نَّكَثَ فَاِنَّمَا يَنْكُثُ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖۚ وَمَنْ اَوْفٰى بِمَا عٰهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللّٰهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيْهِ اَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا ࣖ ١٠
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yubāyiʿūnaka
- يُبَايِعُونَكَ
- pledge allegiance to you
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- only
- yubāyiʿūna
- يُبَايِعُونَ
- they pledge allegiance
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- (to) Allah
- yadu
- يَدُ
- (The) Hand
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- fawqa
- فَوْقَ
- (is) over
- aydīhim
- أَيْدِيهِمْۚ
- their hands
- faman
- فَمَن
- Then whoever
- nakatha
- نَّكَثَ
- breaks (his oath)
- fa-innamā
- فَإِنَّمَا
- then only
- yankuthu
- يَنكُثُ
- he breaks
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- nafsihi
- نَفْسِهِۦۖ
- himself
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- and whoever
- awfā
- أَوْفَىٰ
- fulfils
- bimā
- بِمَا
- what
- ʿāhada
- عَٰهَدَ
- he has covenanted
- ʿalayhu
- عَلَيْهُ
- (with)
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- fasayu'tīhi
- فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ
- soon He will give him
- ajran
- أَجْرًا
- a reward
- ʿaẓīman
- عَظِيمًا
- great
Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only breaks it to the detriment of himself. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah – He will give him a great reward. (QS. [48] Al-Fath: 10)Tafsir
